More Posts from Via-viana
you and wonwoo had an arranged marriage 4 years ago. Coming from chaebol families, you both knew you werenât likely to have a choice in who youâd spend the rest of your life married to.
wonwoo had been a recurring character in your childhood, not as a friend but as an⊠acquaintance which sounds slightly too generous. But then his parents had shipped him off to a boarding school in America where he stayed for the next 8 years.
Of course you had forgotten about him. You didnât even remember much of him when he was around.
You remember when you were reunited with him once again. Your parents had told you the day after your 24th birthday that you were going to be marrying the eldest jeon son- wonwoo and you were all going to have a big family dinner that very night.
You didnât put up a fight, just sighed and walked away to mentally prepare yourself for this hell of a dinner.
You certainly hadnât been expecting to walk into your living room a few hours later to the most handsome man youâd ever laid eyes on. You paused, he paused, all eyes were on the both of you. You had pulled yourself together as quickly as possible, reaching out to shake his hand as his mother reintroduced you to Wonwoo 10 years later.
The two of you escaped the family dinner to walk around your familyâs estate. Wonwoo shared with you that he had been dating someone for almost 3 years up until last month and was positive his parents were behind him losing who he considered to be the love of your life. He confesses that he while he had been expecting an arranged marriage, he didnât think it would be at the expense of someone he had shared so much of himself with. Youâre indifferent- you never really seriously dated because you knew the choice wasnât yours anyway but you find your heart breaking as you hear wonwoo admit his heart is still with someone else. You thought youâd at least be able to have the chance to actually fall in love with your arranged partner but that doesnât seem like itâs going to be the case.
You avoid Wonwoo like the plague after that, only seeing him for wedding preparations. Itâs not like heâs dying to see you either so you donât feel guilty about not trying to build a relationship with him.
The week of the wedding was just a blur. You didnât care about any of it. You were upset that you were going to have to see Wonwoo almost everyday. If he noticed you were being cold, he didnât say anything. The day of the wedding was also a blur. Your mother attached your veil to your hair and looked at your stone cold face in the mirror. âYouâll make a good wife.â
You finally understood why youâd been so⊠angry. You werenât just upset that Wonwoo had experienced a love deep enough to alter his life, you were upset that you were being molded into a wife all these years. Your parents were using you as a way to grow their business profits. They didnât care about any of your ambitions- just that you were trained to be a pretty little wife for some other chaebol son. They didnât care about the 4 years of research you had done in your schoolâs biochemistry department. They didnât care that you graduated top of your class in college. They didnât care about your goals and ambitions as long as it didnât interfere with your marital duties.
You were furious but you took one look at yourself in the mirror and felt your heart break as you realized you were about to give up one of the most important choices you had the ability to make.
You and wonwoo said your vows, briefly kissed, walked hand in hand out of the ceremony and then dropped hands, parting until the banquet dinner later that night. You hardly spoke at that banquet either, wanting nothing more than to just be alone.
Youâre disrupted from your thoughts by the sound of your phone ringing. Itâs your son Jaeâs school calling. You quickly pick up afraid something has happened. âHi Mrs. Jeon, weâre just calling to remind you and your husband that itâs parent student day tomorrow and weâd love your presence around 3pm.â You reassure her youâll be there, jotting down in your notepad a reminder.
While Wonwoo has been a good father, you know how busy he is and donât bother telling him about this event. Heâs not as involved as you are with your sonâs school activities so you figure he wouldnât mind anyway.
That night, you get into bed, wonwooâs side empty like it usually is as he likes to stay at work late at night doing who knows what. You honestly wouldnât be surprised if you found out he was having an affair.
You fall asleep before he gets back.
When you wake up the next morning, youâre surprised to see Wonwooâs bare back facing you. You usually went to bed before he came back home and woke up after he had left so seeing him still asleep was a rightful shock to you. Careful not to wake him, you slip out of bed to go wake up Jae. You carry your little almost 4 year old to your bedroom so he can play while you get ready like you typically do every morning. Jae runs ahead of you as you swiftly turn around to pick up some of the toys scattered around his room.
âDaddy!!â
You walk back to your room to find Jae in Wonwooâs arms- your husband sitting up in your bed with tousled hair and glasses on. And still shirtless.
Your heart swells at the domesticity in front of you. This is everything youâve ever wanted- Wonwoo being around Jae more often than he was right now.
âMommy come in for a big hug!â Jae yells. You hesitate.
You and Wonwoo arenât exactly affectionate. You donât regularly kiss or hug or hold hands unless you need to put up your married front in public. You havenât had sex in probably months- not that you guys were fooling around much in the first place after Jae was born. You approach your husband and son, leaning over Wonwooâs chest to peck Jaeâs cheek. Jae puts his arm around your neck while holding on tightly to Wonwooâs shoulder trying to squish the two of you together. You feel Wonwooâs arm snake around your waist and you appease Jae by putting your arm around Wonwooâs very wide⊠and broad⊠shoulders.
You end up in the bathroom with Wonwoo as you both start getting ready at the same time. Youâre still thinking about the hug, deep in thought as Wonwoo approaches you and leans against the counter right next to you watching your face as you finish brushing your teeth.
âCan your parents take Jae this weekend?â
âI can ask. Why? Am I forgetting somethingâ you panic trying to rack your brain for any important dates coming up.
âItâs our 5 year anniversary. Letâs do something this weekend.â
You pause. The two of you have never celebrated your wedding anniversary. Jae was born a couple months after your first anniversary as Wonwoo was determined to get you pregnant as soon as possible after your marriage so his parents would stop bothering him about a grandchild.
âUh. Do what?â
âMy parents think we should have another kid.â
So thatâs what this was about. Wonwoo had to fulfill his obligations to his parents by pumping you full of his cum until you became pregnant. Again. Not saying that you hadnât enjoyed it the first time. While Wonwoo was in fact appeasing his parentsâ wishes, he was still very great in bed, with his dominant side taking over in ways youâve never really seen outside the bedroom.
You roll your eyes.
âUntil you actually pay attention to the child we have now, weâre not going even to talk about having another child.â
You turn around to walk out of the bathroom but Wonwoo moves quickly, grabbing your wrist and shutting the door. He cages you against the counter and grabs both of your wrists as you try pushing him away.
âLet go Wonwoo! You know Iâm right. Youâre not around for breakfast or dinner. You donât drop Jae off and you donât go to any of his schoolâs events so donât even pretend like you have any say in whether or not we have another child.â
Wonwoo drops your wrists and was quiet.
He knew you were right.
Wonwoo had been so excited the day Jae was born. He cried silent tears when his child was placed into his arms for the first time. Around Jaeâs first birthday, he quietly got Jaeâs birth date tattooed on his ribcage under his heart which you didnât discover until months later. He didnât mean to slip away. Work was becoming so demanding all of a sudden and rather than talking to you about it, he had just buried himself in the endless tasks he was being assigned.
He approaches you again this time gently pulling you into a hug.
He whispers apologies in your ear, telling you heâs going to be a better dad. No promises about being a better husband but you suppose you have to choose your battles and Jae is more important.
You donât hug him back.
-
You leave work around 2:45pm, a meeting running over causing you to haphazardly grab your stuff and go running to your car as soon as itâs over. You reach Jaeâs school around 3:30, smoothing out the wrinkles in your outfit before heading inside. You greet Jaeâs teacher and search for him amongst all the other kids.
However, your eyes land on a tall suited figure standing next to one of the moms who doesnât seem to like you much whenever you talk to her. You watch as the mom touches Wonwooâs arm, getting uncomfortably close. Wonwoo raises his left hand, the shine of his gold wedding band unmissable to her eye. She drops his arm while you slowly approach your husband, confused as to why heâs here.
âAh, hereâs my wife actually! Hi jagiya.â He bends down to kiss your cheek and wraps his arm around your shoulders.
âY/N, I had no idea you had such a handsome husbandâ the mom laughs. You force a smile and tell her youâve been married to Wonwoo for almost 5 years. Her fury is unmistakable as she continues to ogle him when she thinks you arenât paying attention.
Whatever.
Wonwoo, obviously uncomfortable by her stares, excuses himself to go find Jae, giving you another kiss before leaving you alone with her.
She watches him go which annoys you to no end.
âIâm right here, you know. Hasnât anyone told you itâs rude to stare at other peopleâs husbands like that?â
You walk away to go find your husband and son and see a comical sight.
Wonwoo is sitting in a tiny child sized chair, coloring a picture next to Jae. You quietly snap a picture feeling your heart grow bigger as Jae stands up to look at his fatherâs drawing. He looks up and sees you and waddles up to you as fast as he can.
âMommy!!!â
You lift Jae up into the air wrapping your arms around him as he begins to ramble on about his day. Itâs Wonwooâs turn to watch you and your son. He stands up to approach the two of you reaching forward to hold Jaeâs hand.
Jaeâs already so big he thinks. He doesnât want the years to slip by and realize heâs been a shitty dad. He vows to be better for the both of you.
Heâll make sure he is.

buy me coffee ?
where love and peace is held, i never expected for this to happen. i planned and i planned, i expected, and i hoped, but it was never you. you held what i wanted hostage to make room for you, the thing that i needed but has no means of acceptance. deny me, live your best life.
At this point, you found yourself in somewhat of a choreographed dance with the father and son duo manoeuvring the child in question. Usually, you would have to move quickly between taking Kijoong's things out of the car and making sure that he wouldn't make a run for it, even going as far as installing a car seat, iPad holder, and small containers of cereal and snacks, effectively turning your car into a mom car. Now, you simply needed to focus on Kijoong because Hongjoong would instinctively take your bag and any of Kijoong's belongings with him. Then, the two of you would basically lock Kijoong's hands in each of yours and making sure that Kijoong wouldn't have any means of escaping or running away as your bodies would block his sides.
You both call it "inmate transfer" and others pointed out that it's actually called "the family hold". You both were confident that "inmate transfer" is correct.
"I think I stuffed myself stupid," Hongjoong huffed, taking a moment to readjust his pants before resuming the walk back to the elevator from his dedicated parking spot. You couldn't help but snicker in amusement at the way he was so comfortable with you, totally different from the person you first knew less than three months ago. "I told you not to get a second plate, Joong, this is all on you," you teased which caused Kijoong to chirp, "Yeah, Joong," he teased, sticking his tongue out at his dad. Hongjoong squinted his eyes at the two of you, "Hey, I finished my main course, I EARN that dessert. And you had some, (y/n), you can't talk shit about my decision," he huffed before crouching down to Kijoong's height, "And that's daddy to you, mister," he said, poking Kijoong's nose.
Teasingly, you raised an eyebrow at Hongjoong, "You asked me to spend my day off with you and Kijoong, I think I reserve the right to call you out for eating a plate of two waffles drenched in maple syrup and ice cream after finishing a whole ass pasta by yourself. And while we're on the subject, who eats carbonara at 10 am?" "Yeah, Joong, who?" Kijoong teased again, this time drawling to poke fun at his dad even more. "A hungry man using food as a reward for a week of hard work," he said in a mocking tone, causing you to raise an eyebrow, "So is this your way of telling me that I've done a good job?" you teased.
"Do you think you've done a good job?"
Suddenly there was a wave of seriousness over the two of you (Kijoong was blissfully unaware, of course, what with kicking pebbles around as he held onto your hands). You momentarily stop in your steps to look at Hongjoong, "What?" Hongjoong stopped in his tracks as well to look back at you, "Do you think you've done a good job so far? Are you satisfied? Are you happy working here?" Already had a feeling that the discussion was coming, you wasted no time in going straight to the point, "Is this about my employment ending?" Hongjoong was kind of glad that you brought it up first as he didn't really know how to say those exact words (In all honesty, Hongjoong didn't know how to say a lot of things to you but one conversation at a time). "Kind of, yeah," Hongjoong confirmed.
For a moment, you pursed your lips and resorted to continuing your walk to the elevator as Kijoong, still in his own world, tried to get you to kick the pebbles with him.
Feeling obligated to explain, Hongjoong opened his mouth again, "I should clarify, I'm not asking you because I'm reviewing your work or anything. In fact, I just want to know if you're happy which I think is the biggest factor in sticking with a job." You could tell that he was trying his best to not be confrontational and your lack of answer would soon make him cry. "Good because if that was your way of firing me after all that we have been through, I would be so pissed, I'd actually give Kijoong back his toy gun." Hearing his name and toy, Kijoong perked up and started jumping excitedly, "MY GUN!?" he exclaimed, hopeful but you immediately shot it down, patting his head with your free hand, "No sweetie, and please don't interrupt your daddy and I are talking."
Relieved, Hongjoong chuckled and shook his head, "At this point, it would make more sense if you leave in the middle of the night and move away to Antarctica or something. But I know you wouldn't," "Hey, I might," you pointed out, rolling your eyes, "Push my buttons enough times and I'll pull a disappearing act so fantastic, it would get Best Performance award at the Grammys or something." Hongjoong's eyes widened, thinking that you were serious, "What, you mean to tell me that you'd consider leaving us?" there was a slight panic in his voice that made you crack out rather loudly, "Oh my God, Joong, calm down! I was just joking! You know I love working with you and I'll be honest, I'm kind of attached to the cutie pies of apartment 801 so it would take a lot for me to not want to continue working with you," you said lightheartedly, pinching Kijoong's cheek affectionately.
It was only when you both stepped inside the elevator that Hongjoong realized what you just said. "Wait, did you just say 'cuties'? As in plural?" Confusedly, you raised an eyebrow at him, "Um, yeah? Why do you think I keep feeding you? You're basically Kijoong-sized XL and I love the boy to bits," this time, you couldn't help but scoop Kijoong into your arms and blew a raspberry on his cheek, making him giggle from the ticklish feeling. There was a mix of feelings that surged through Hongjoong's body and he couldn't pinpoint on the cause as the giddiness was so palpable he could taste it at the tip of his tongue. The sheer feeling rendered him speechless and he could only find his voice when the elevator door opened and the three of you stepped out.
"So... You love me?"
In all fairness, Hongjoong meant that as a joke. Or so he said. He so totally doesn't lowkey hope that you'd say yes. But he was totally expecting you to roll your eyes and call him stupid.
The last thing he expected was for you to step closer to him, nudge his hip with yours and grin, "What do you think, Joong? What do your own feelings tell you?"
A sudden wave of excitement-induced nausea washed over Hongjoong, his body forcing his brain to prepare to have the talk. The one talk he knew he had to have with you considering the revelation he made (through Seonghwa pointing it out but he was not about to give his friend the credit).
You saw that his brain was trying to connect the dots and it was entertaining, to say the least. But at that moment, it dawned on you that you had just opened the door to a conversation you had only planned to have but even that plan was not solid. So to feign being coy, you took quick steps to get to Hongjoong's apartment first. "Hey!" Hongjoong exclaimed when he realized that you had taken off on him and he followed suit. While the distance from the elevator to this unit was not long, he caught up with you quick but it was because you had stopped in your tracks in the middle of the hallway, eyes trailed forward which caused him to look in the same direction.
It was like seeing a ghost. Well, a ghost from his past. Because out of all the moments in the timeline of his life, he would never have expected to see the person he was seeing. Not after what happened in the past.
"Minhee?" he called out.
Minhee, his ex, pushed her body off of the door and smiled gently, eyes looking over to Hongjoong before it settled on you and then on the boy who looked at her confusedly, not knowing who she was but he was intuitive enough to sense that there was something going on. You took notice of this when Kijoong suddenly turned around and clung on your body, refusing to look at his birth mother.
You, on the other hand, couldn't help but stare at her. She looked like the pictures you had caught glimpses of when you were cleaning but... Happier. She looked pretty and well-kept, exactly like how a young lady from a respected family should what with her all-white get-up and expensive bag. The nasty side of your brain immediately made comparisons and you came to the conclusion that you and her were vastly different and though momentarily, the thought of her being the kind of person that made Hongjoong commit flashed, leaving a nasty remnant that felt itchy.
"Well, aren't you going to let an old friend in?" she smiled.
Hell, even her voice sounded nice.
How were you going to fare?

This cannot be true.
You stared at the young girl in the mirror before you. She seemed no more than twelve years old, her raven hair cascades in soft waves around her shoulders, framing her face like a midnight veil. Her eyes are pools of dark brown, with mesmerizing purple swirls dancing within her pupils.Â
Her skin is fair and smooth, like porcelain, with a delicate rosy hue on her cheeks that speaks of youth and vitality. Her features were exactly of the Y/n in Utopia - a small button nose, full rosy lips and high cheekbones. She wears a silky sleeping gown, one that looks exactly the same as the one you are wearing right now.Â
You raised your hand to touch your face, and so did her.Â
You have read many novels about transmigrating - but novels are fiction. And this is real.
âIâm⊠in the game?â You whispered, your shaking fingers reaching to touch the mirror. But the cool touch on the tips of your fingers told you that this is not a dream, that everything is real. You looked around, the room you were in is spacious, with high ceilings adorned with intricately carved moldings and delicate crystal chandeliers. Sunlight streams through tall windows draped in dark amethyst curtains, glowing down on you.
The walls, floors and pillars were made of the finest marble, covered with sumptuous silk tapestries of flowers. You walked towards the nearest wall, running your fingers along the fine threads that form the images that seem to come alive in the flickering light of the candles and fireplace.Â
In the center of the chamber sits a four-poster bed, its canopy draped in sheer silk curtains. The bed is covered in luxurious lavender silk sheets, embroidered with the finest silver thread. You walked over to them, taking a seat. They were soft and light, like you were sitting on a cotton cloud. You stared outside of the window, trying to digest the fact that you are in the game.Â
But who are you?
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. You watched as a maid entered, bowing to you. âGreetings to the Star of Eternity. The Moon and Eclipse have requested your audience.âÂ
You nearly let out a squeak; the maid had answered your question. As two young boys walked in, you were even more certain of it.
You are now Choi Y/n, Star of Eternity, Princess of the Eternity Kingdom.
"Y/n!" The shorter one ran towards you, lifting you up in his arms as though you weighed nothing. "How is our little Star feeling today?"
"Beomgyu! Y/n's twelve, stop carrying her like that!" The taller one chided, as Beomgyu rolled his eyes, sticking his tongue out at his older brother in response. You wrapped your arms around his neck for support, staring up at your third brother's face.
Choi Beomgyu, the Eclipse of Eternity. He is the third Prince, known for his gift of creating illusions. Utopia did not have much of Y/n's backstory, but you knew that Beomgyu was the only person spared under Wooyoung's sword, and took over Eternity as the new King.
The Beomgyu holding you has long black hair that falls into his shoulders. He pressed a kiss onto your temple, rubbing his cheek against yours like a cat. "My little Star, so precious." He cooed, ignoring the exasperated sighs of your other brother across the room. "What would I do without you?"
You looked over to your other brother for help. He put his hand on his forehead tiredly. "Let Y/n down, Gyu. Please."
"You're all work and no fun, Soobin hyung." Beomgyu pouted unhappily, placing you gently back on the bed. "Is our little Star excited to meet her new friend?"
Choi Soobin, Moon of Eternity, the second Prince born with the gift of manipulating water. He would later become the War General of Eternity, dying to San in a battle.
Soobin shared the same raven hair as the both of you, his fringe falling in front of his eyes. He seemed to have had enough of Beomgyu, sighing loudly and flexing his right arm before casually delivering a loud smack on the back of Beomgyu's head. Ignoring Beomgyu's over-dramatic whines, Soobin approached you, kneeling on one knee to be at the same eye level as you. Taking your hand into his, Soobin had a simple dimpled smile on his face.
"Y/n-ah, remember when Mother mentioned that we have guests over? They are very important people, so remember to behave yourself, okay?"
You tilted your head in confusion. "How important are they, Brother?"
Beomgyu stopped whining and exchanged a look with Soobin. The other lifted his thumb and index, slowly pulling them apart. "Itâs this important, Y/n-ah."
"The point is," Beomgyu interjected, earning a disapproving look from Soobin. "They will be arriving before dinner. Yeonjun hyung had already gone to welcome them along with Mother, so we have an afternoon for you to get ready, Y/n." He grinned, one that made you nervous for no reason. "Our little Star must be pretty too."
You glanced at Soobin. The older man nodded, wearing a satisfied expression on his face as though Beomgyu finally made sense. "I got you many dresses to try on, Y/n-ah. Shall we go?" He smiled, offering his hand to you.
You were bathed by the maids before they dressed you into a lavender dress with puffed sleeves and the hem fell gracefully to your knees. Beomgyu picked a purple silk ribbon, tying it to your hair while Soobin knelt on one knee, fitting a pair of white shoes with amethyst crystals onto your feet. When you were done, Beomgyu gushed in delight, showering you with compliments after compliments.
"Our Gem, our little Star," Beomgyu cooed as your face heated up at the praises. "Looking so pretty... I mean, you are always pretty, my Star, but right now, with my magnificent sense of fashion-"
"Our Star!" A loud voice boomed, sending everyone in the room jumping. A tall, blonde hair male barged in, his eyes lighting up the moment it landed on you. You hear Beomgyu mutter a curse under his breath while Soobin puts his hand on his chest. "Yeonjun hyung, at least announce that you're here!"
Yeonjun ignored him, making a beeline towards you and dismissing the maids in the process. "Our Star, so bright and... Why is she so purple?" His face scrunched up at the sight of the little purple crystals adorning your hair, which Beomgyu had 'generously' clipped onto your hair. "Take it off, take it off. The ribbon is purple enough; Y/n doesn't have to be a grape for the Kims to see."
Choi Yeonjun, Sun of Eternity, heir to the throne. He is the oldest out of the four of you, with an ability to soothe feelings. Your face fell slightly, remembering how Yeonjun had died when you played Utopia as the heroine. He was stabbed by...
Who was it?
"You don't know fashion at all, hyung." Beomgyu grumbled, cutting you off your thoughts. Soobin and Beomgyu had been quarreling over the hairclips, and you did not want to pick a side. Yeonjun removed all the crystals in your hair, leaving only the ribbon. "There, our Star shines bright enough like this."
"Thank you, Brothers." You smiled sweetly and the three cooed in response. Beomgyu had his hand dramatically held over his heart, Soobin covered his blushing face with his gloved hands and Yeonjun proudly grinning. "Wait until Mother and Father see you, little Star. Now, shall we run along?"
You took Yeonjunâs hand and allowed him to guide you to the banquet hall with Beomgyu and Soobin trailing behind you two like bodyguards. You could hear the activity in the hall from outside, and you gripped Yeonjunâs hand nervously.
"Announcing the arrival of the Sun, Moon, Eclipse, and Star of Eternity!" The voices of the guards boomed. Yeonjun squeezed your hand as the doors opened, revealing a quiet banquet hall. You could feel many eyes staring at you, but you remained composed, walking alongside Yeonjun to the King and Queen of Eternity. The nobles you walked past bowed respectfully, and when you finally reached the throne, Yeonjun let go of your hand.
"Greetings to Your Majesties," Yeonjun said, bowing to both the King and Queen of Eternity. You curtseyed, while Beomgyu and Soobin bowed behind you. âMay peace be ever in your grace.â The King, your Father, nodded. âYou may rise.â The King of Eternity is never shown in Utopia, but you knew that like Soobin, he died under Sanâs sword. You scanned the man on the throne. He seemed to be in his forties, with the same platinum blond hair as Yeonjun and a kind-looking face.Â
You didnât miss the subtle wink the raven-haired woman beside him gave you. Sending a sweet smile towards your Mother, the Queen of Eternity, you turned your attention to the two other presence in the banquet hall.Â
Yeonjun turned towards them. âGreetings to the Queen of Mist, and Prince Hongjoong. May peace be ever in your grace.â
You froze slightly at the name, but quickly recovered when Yeonjun gently tickled your side, telling you to bow. When you straightened back up again, your eyes met a pair of golden slits. Kim Hongjoong gave you a soft smile, but you quickly looked away, your heart pounding.
Kim Hongjoong, the Prince of Mist. The one who the original Y/n had fallen in love with, and lost both her life and her kingdom to. When you played as Jiwon, Hongjoong seemed to be a normal, sweet Prince who was loyal and polite to her even if she was a commoner. However, when you played as Y/n, he was evil, nasty and horrifying.Â
The Queen of Mist inclined her head slightly. âGreetings to the Sun, Moon, Eclipse and Star of Eternity. May peace be ever in your grace.â She turned to look at Hongjoong, who too bowed, echoing the greetings. When he was done, you grabbed onto Yeonjunâs sleeve, hiding your face in it.Â
âSeems like the Star is a little shy, Mira.â Mira is your motherâs maiden name. Yeonjun patted your hair consolingly as your mother laughed. âOh, Ayang. She'll recognize you soon, you even carried her as a baby.âÂ
The Queen of Mist and your mother seemed to know each other, seeing that they were addressing each other by a first-name basis. You peeked out from behind Yeonjun, avoiding Hongjoongâs gaze as you looked towards the Queen of Mist. She chuckled at your cute reaction, beckoning you. âCome here, little Star, let Auntie have a good look at you.â
âItâs not fair!â Beomgyu burst out dramatically. âYou always favored Y/n, Auntie Ayang!âÂ
You blinked, confused at the turns of events. What is happening? Didnât Beomgyu and Soobin say that they are important guests? And why is your Mother now walking towards the Queen of Mist, holding her hand as she speaks?
âHere.â Yeonjun pushed you out from his side gently. âGo say hi.â You carefully took a few steps forwards, still refusing to look at Hongjoong as you grip your dress tightly. âY-your MajestyâŠâ
âItâs Auntie Ayang for you, my little Y/n.â The woman bent down slightly while your Mother stood next to her, smiling. âI am your Motherâs best friend, little Star. This is a family event, we can be casual with each other.â
Your heart thumped loudly at this piece of information. So Y/n and Hongjoong had already known each other before Y/n went to the Kingdom of Mist for⊠For what?
Why.. Why canât you remember?
âNow, shall the dinner start?â Your Fatherâs voice pulled you out of reality. You blinked rapidly, and quickly followed Yeonjun as everyone settled down on one table. Unfortunately for you, Hongjoong took the seat next to you.Â
âHello, Y/n. Iâm Hongjoong.â Hongjoong introduced himself in a small, shy voice, his golden, snake-like eyes upon you. âI hope weâll be good friends with each other.â
You stared at him, your brows furrowing unconsciously. Then you blurted out, âI donât want to.â
âDonât want to do what, Y/n?â Yeonjun didnât catch the whole conversation and had fetched a napkin for you. You frowned at Hongjoong, your lips forming into an adorable pout.Â
âI donât want to be friends with Kim Hongjoong.â
