Thank you for answering! I have to agree about the horses; they blew me away! I love the bug-heavy design. I haven't posted any of my own, yet, but I have so much appreciation in my heart for chitin. Maybe when I have my own time I'll get to work on some things, but studying medicine is a hell of a workload, so, for now, I'm just enjoying your fantastic artwork for one of my favourite pieces of media ever. I love your designs for all of your different animals on Hocotate/Koppai/etc. One: Which has been your favourite to draw? Do you have any you want to refine more? I love them all. . . Two: More cowboy Louie? That was so cool. That man should be wrangling large animals. I love all of the little animal husbandry/hunting situations.

Thank you so very much for sending a message! I tend to focus more on our human characters, but adding on creatures to the home planets has been really fun, too! I'm so curious about what Hocotate [ and koppai] are like. If I had all the time and energy in the world, I'd add on a big chart of creatures from Olimar and Louie's home. Especially Louie, since he comes from a very 'outdoorsman like' background. He's probably seen more wildlife in person than Olimar. Many more 'large' hocotate animals, too. I've got imagery in my head of Louie knowing how to use bow and arrow, and knowing what wild greens are or aren't edible. Sort of like the drawing I did of him taking Olimar's children out with him to the beach.

-My favorite critter to draw so far as been Hocotate Horses. Very predictable of me, they're my favorite animal here on Earth. I'd love to go back over the 'Jousting Cow/Grub'. I'd like to think over the dimorphism between the male and female more.

amputee culture is coming up with increasingly bullshit answers to the question "what happened to your [missing body part]?" just to watch people's expressions as they try to puzzle out if you REALLY lost your fingers because "i tried to run with scissors" and THEN watch their expressions after they decide it's definitely bullshit but don't know whether they wanna call you out on it

Had an absolutely lovely day today networking with people in higher places. I made several friends out of medical faculty and got to catch up with many more. The best moment, though, was getting closer to another student in my program who I'd already acquainted myself with. She's ahead of me by two years, and full of the same insane energy the best (that I've met) doctors have. Listening to her speak about her determination to enter the field was as inspiring as it was a call back to last year for myself, when I nearly died from illness— that moment was the moment that I realised I feared missing out on taking part in medicine more than death itself.

She had a similar moment. We both laughed about how we'd love to be stuck in a hospital bed again, just for that starstruck feeling to come back.

We'll make it just fine. We, because I can't show somebody The Horn of Geddon and have both of us crying laughing and NOT stick with that person.
