This just got to my mind and it is true. We are divided into groups of interests.

Just here to emphasise how important reblogging truly is.

In the last day, my blog received 320 notes. Out of those, 27 were reblogs ~ by a total of 6 people. I received 1 comment. I gained 1 new follower.

Between work/uni/personal life/writing I struggle to keep up with fics that my fellow writers put out, sometimes completely missing them - UNTIL I see someone else reblogging them on my feed.

Reblogs are so important for circulating our work, allowing us to reach new audiences who could connect with our thoughts as well as current followers who can’t be online all the time.

And of course they allow us to receive feedback - for something we work sometimes weeks on, a simple reblog with a few words of praise can really go a long way to keep our love for writing alive🫶🏻
