Do you have a favorite snack while writing?
honestly i love having me some energy drinks to sip on while writing bc it somehow gets my brain in the right condition to write? other than that i don't rlly have snacks while writing tbh. it's more important for me to have beverages while writing.
Do you make faces to help you describe expressions as you write?
I GENUINELY DO. i furrow my brows a lot when i write in general like even answering this ask i had to tell myself to relax my brows and not frown lmao i'm a writer that puts myself in my characters' shoes emotionally, which is also why it can be tough sometimes to get through some scenes, but i bet you that's why i make facial expressions while writing njkdfnd
asks for writers.
Hi, this is an incredibly gentle reminder and request to please read navigations, FAQs, DNIs, warnings, and author's/designer's notes before engaging with content creators. Most creators have designed their blogs to make information as easily accessible to you as possible, with navigations or FAQs or ways to get information on that blog's content.
When people who engage with fandom content skip over these notes and FYIs, the creator often ends up having to re-explain information already readily available or having to defend themselves because someone didn't read tags or warnings and became upset with the content.
I mean this in the most gentle way possible, please take the extra few minutes to go through the materials creators have organized for you. We love that people engage with content, creators would be nowhere without those who consume. But while it may be faster to go right to an inbox to ask when a creator does updates, or why they made a design choice, or to say you don't like a trope/element explicitly warned, it is incredibly frustrating for creators.
Please don't take this as a reprimand or complaint. It is very easy to forget that there are navigations, FAQs and more, but I promise you they'll make your user experience so much better. And if there is every something I can add to my navi, bio or fic information to provide a more seamless and accessible experience, let me know!!
