As Someone Who's Been SA'ed It Upsets Me How Kittycorn Uses That Trauma Of Squeaks To Block Out All Valid

As someone who's been SA'ed it upsets me how kittycorn uses that trauma of squeaks to block out all valid criticism against kits comic. And the way she treats very serious mental illnesses and erases physical disabilities makes me pretty glad kit hasn't touched the idea of making a character with DID OSDD or PDID because I don't trust that squeak would treat it right. Then again kit probably wouldn't even humor the idea of that kind of character because little alters exist and goes against squeaks "no children in the hospital" rule.

And also every piece of indie media is someone's OCS that doesn't suddenly erase the fact they are characters you posted on the internet. If you didn't want people to treat your characters like characters, why post them?

Also maybe it's just me but the story of sparklecare is far more readable as a medical trauma story than a SA story at all especially with the raunchy overused sex jokes and gags. You shouldn't use your trauma from SA as a shield for your story when it has nothing to do with SA.

yea this is why i have all of kneebys blogs blocked on this account. people swear up and down that kneeby wouldnt freak the fuck out over criticism yet here we are.

im also glad kneeby hasnt touched osddid yet. myself having cdid, i just know that shit would go downhill so fast. and im not afraid to drag her through the mud if osddid is represented bad if it ever does come up in sparklecare or cometcare. thats one thing i protect with my life and i am not afraid to drag people over.

also yes, very true. every piece of media technically is someones ocs. and even then, it doesnt ignore the fact that sparklecare is a public and public focused comic. it literally is built off the publics input, ALONGSIDE kneebys input.

and yes. ive always seen sparklecare as a medical trauma comic. its advertised as such! and im not mad about it being now based off sa experience, but i just find it odd how its been told as "this comic was made to draw my medical trauma" and now suddenly kneeby is pissy and exposing herself as a sa trauma victim...its very dangerous.

i want to remain respectful to kneeby due to the arising theme of sparklecare but. just the fact that both sparklecare and cometcare are so heavily beefed up with sex jokes, characters constantly being made fun of and harsssed, and just treated terribly for "laughs" makes it hard to not want to shit on it.

i feel very iffy continuing this blog now that kneebys literally just exposing herself because she cant handle a little criticism. but i still have so many issue with kneebys media.

especially with kneeby kitself. i dont like bun...like at all. let alone after this.

not to mention, im not "tearing kneebys project to shreds" like she states. i like sparklecare, its my special interest, its been extremely important to me. ive stated this before. but its just that it needs work... i has a lot of flaws in comic but also with kneeby kitself, staff, and the fandom.

this sparklecrit blogs wouldnt exist if sparklecare/kneeby/staff/fandom werent so flawed and so terrible.

Gonna cheer myself up by compiling a list of questions that were asked here into one of those meme thingies. Feel free to ask any of my charas if you want to or reblog this or whatnot. They are meant for OCs but can be answered by non-OCs too, or you can even answer them yourself if you like.

What’s one experience your character had that made them very afraid?

What is your character’s happiest memory?

What’s one skill your character really wishes they had?

What is their favourite food? Their daily diet?

Do they like music? If so, what kind of music do they enjoy?

Do they collect anything/have a collection?

Have they ever encountered someone they really wanted to kill?

How do they deal with bullies and people who just won’t leave them alone?

Does your character have any accidents or stunts from the past that they’re extremely embarrassed about or had a funny result? Details please!

Your character has discovered that they only have a week left to live. What do they do with that time?

What was something they struggled with greatly and how did they overcome it?

Have they ever eaten something unusual to their normal diet? What was it? Did they like it?

If they were free to do anything, be it cruel, kind, or otherwise, without fear of repercussions, what is it that your character would do?

What was the most acidic remark your character’s ever given to someone? And their reaction?

What, in your character’s life, puts the most pressure on them?

Do they enjoy facing their fears? CAN they face their fears? If not, what do they do in a situation where they’re forced to face them?

When it comes to clothing, what’s their style? Do they prefer natural or formal? Skinny or baggy clothes? 

How is your character’s bedroom? Is it small, big, colourful, simple, messy, organised, filled with their things, shared…? 

Do they like to read? If so, what’s their favourite genre? Favourite author? Favourite book?

If your character knew what they know now when they were younger would they do things in their life differently?

What would be the worst way to die, in your character’s opinion?

What was the worst experience they’ve ever had with their family? Or, if they don’t have one, what’s the worst part of not having a family?

Which one of the five senses is most important to them? 

Are they capable of handling themselves in a fight? And, what was the worst fight they’ve gotten themselves into, if any?

Are they very trusting or not trusting at all? Have they ever been betrayed or has someone they hated become one of the most reliable people they know?

Which one do they prefer; knowing when they die or how they die?

How do they spend a rainy day?

Your character is running late but need to grab something to eat. What do they get?

If they could have one superpower, what would it be? Choose wisely, it could have drawbacks to them.

Have they ever had to tell someone a lie to protect them? Did they regret doing it or not?

What do they do if they have a really bad nightmare?

If the opportunity to join an adventure appears, but for your character to participate the’d need to leave their current life behind without knowing if they’ll ever come back, would they go no matter what? Or would they prefer to stay with their current life?

Do they have anything that they consider a good luck charm? 

What’s their favourite physical activity?

Assuming they aren’t one already would your character prefer to be a Vampire, a Werewolf, or a Demon? And no cheating, if they are already one of those they can’t pick the one that they are.

Does your character like the ocean, or are they more of a land person? Perhaps they prefer specific bodies of water, like ponds and rivers, or specific locations on the land, like forests and mountains?
