Just out of curiosity (no hate), why do you dislike tfp soundstar specifically, but like other versions?

It's just because I really adore TFP Soundwave and strongly dislike TFP Starscream. To my mind, there's simply nobody in this series who deserves Soundwave, he's too cool to be with anyone. Especially TFP Starscream.

And what about other versions... It's actually my favorite ship dynamics: someone chaotic and emotional and someone cold and stoic. In other words, they make an interesting contrast with each other.

Yeah, I actually liked TFP Starscream for the very first episodes, but then he started to annoy me af (to the point I stopped watching TFP at the beginning of Season 2). Writers had ruined this character, though he could be a great villain.

Every time someone says TFP Starscream is the smartest one, I recall the episode where he just said out loud in front of Arcee he killed Cliffjumper. Like seriously:

G1 Starscream: fucked over Unicron.

TFA Starscream: hid his intention to overthrow Megatron for millions of years.

TFP Starscream: being handcuffed and unarmed, said right in front of someone perfectly able to kill him he had murdered her partner.

If there was a nomination for the most stupid Starscream's action ever, I would give this the first place.

I'm in Transformers fandom for almost two years and since the very beginning I can't stop thinking about an AMV with TFA Starscream and The Cat Came Back song.

Someone make it, please. We need this. The world needs this.

Unpopular opinion: I love Starscream exactly for being a self-centered, egomaniacal, traitorous lying jerk, and it's not like he doesn't deserve a redemption ark, he simply doesn't need it, because Starscream is completely awesome as a villain. Fight me. 👊
