Yay, same with the least favorite Starscream! He pissed me so much that I even wasn't able to finish the show.

Every time someone says TFP Starscream is the smartest one, I recall the episode where he just said out loud in front of Arcee he killed Cliffjumper. Like seriously:

G1 Starscream: fucked over Unicron.

TFA Starscream: hid his intention to overthrow Megatron for millions of years.

TFP Starscream: being handcuffed and unarmed, said right in front of someone perfectly able to kill him he had murdered her partner.

If there was a nomination for the most stupid Starscream's action ever, I would give this the first place.

There is a lot I could say about what is happening, but my vocabulary lets me down. I have virtually no not-swearing words to express what I feel. Neither swear words, actually. It's more like a non-stopping wordless scream in my head.

I thought in my current condition there is scarcely anything that could surprise me or terrify me. Thought this world could not disappoint me even more. I was wrong.

What is happening now is horrible. It is abominable, it is wrong, it is vile and it is outrageous. It should not be. I detest every word that I have to hear from TV. I detest hearing how the same people who were laughing at the very idea of invasion, who were calling it a paranoia just a couple of days ago, now call the same invasion a "peace operation". I detest understanding that people who dared to call Russia "a country that defeated fascism" openly support that as if there are no contradictions here. I detest understanding that for someone other's interests and ambitions will suffer people who have nothing to do with that, hundreds, thousands, millions of people. I detest understanding that it is the actions of my country, that it is the state I live in.

And it is shameful and painful that all I can do is to write a post on the Internet and sign a couple of petitions. That none of my actions can change the situation. But I also cannot remain silent. At least because I will lose any remains of my self-respect if I don't voice my disdain for such actions. I despise them with all my heart, with all that remains of my indifference to the world.

We are all being deceived and I do not want to believe in these lies. I do not want to keep silent and to pretend that I believe them.

Everyone who is affected by this nightmare — hold on. One day it will be over. One day time will wash your pain and your fear away, and you will have a normal life — at least I want to believe in this. Too bad no time could wash that shame away from the history of my country. Not in my eyes for sure.

Я могла бы много что сказать о происходящем, но мой словарный запас меня подводит. У меня практически нет цензурных слов, чтобы выразить свое отношение. Да и нецензурных тоже — скорее, в голове звучит непрекращающийся бессловный крик.

Я думала, что в моем текущем состоянии меня вряд ли что-то удивит или напугает. Думала, что этот мир не может разочаровать меня еще больше. Я ошибалась.

То, что происходит сейчас, — это ужасно. Это отвратительно, это неправильно, это подло и это дико. Так не должно быть. Мне противно каждое слово из тех, что доносятся до меня из телевизора. Мне противно слышать, как люди, каких-то пару дней назад высмеивавшие и называвшие паранойей слова о вторжении, теперь называют это самое вторжение «миротворческой операцией». Мне противно осознавать, что люди, называющие Россию «страной, победившей фашизм», открыто поддерживают подобное, как будто и нет никакого противоречия. Мне противно осознавать, что страдать из-за чужих интересов и амбиций будут непричастные к этому люди, сотни, тысячи, миллионы людей. Мне противно осознавать, что это — действия моей страны, что это государство, в котором я живу.

И мне мерзко и больно от того, что все, что я могу — написать пост в Интернете и подписать пару петиций. Что никакие мои усилия не изменят ситуацию. Но и молчать я не могу. Хотя бы потому, что потеряю остатки самоуважения, если не выскажу свое презрение к подобным действиям. А я их презираю — всем сердцем, всем, что еще осталось от моего неравнодушия к окружающему.

Нас всех обманывают, и я не хочу верить этой лжи. Не хочу молчать и делать вид, что верю ей.

Все, кого затронул этот ужас, — держитесь. Когда-нибудь это закончится. Когда-нибудь время смоет ваши боль и страх, и у вас будет нормальная жизнь — по крайней мере, хочется в это верить. Жаль, что никакое время не смоет это пятно позора с истории моей страны. Не в моих глазах уж точно.

I feel like it's often forgotten that Starscream is terrifying. In the third episode of this show his attack on Detroit lead to Optimus' death he only survived due to the allspark. Starscream has killed many more.
