What are your fave tanks and planes to draw as anthros? :3

That’s a tough question to answer, I don’t really have a favorite vehicles that I like to paint as people. Usually the subjects are just things that I find fascinating and have unique details and/or colors. Tanks are especially samey looking so I don’t know which to pick. Planes on the other hand have a lot of different camouflages and design choices.

So if I’d have to pick one plane right now, it’d be the F4 Phantom II.

Overall the plane has a ton of interesting shapes. Like how the intakes gradually merge to the fuselage and the nose of the plane droops a bit. Not mention the most unique part: the long tail with the downwards pointing elevators.

Plus the JASDF sea camouflage is just really neat on it.

No idea I, just work here as it is often said. I’m just often very art blocked and feel very inexperienced in using colors etc, and I don’t want to copy/plagiarize everything when I do practices, so I just turn machines into these nightmare creatures. 

Gives me good practice for different materials and I have to think about the shapes more than just copying something. But my main goal is to just get better at art overall so I can eventually paint something like this:

Have you read the Vinland Saga -manga? Seen your posts about the Berserk and Vinland has similar vibes at times alongside with great art. Plus the historical theme is pretty nice bonus, for me at least. Highly recommended if you are looking for more good reading.

I wonder what would a Mavic and Karma drones would look as anthros?

Hard to say as they are quite complex yet boxy forms and would probably end up looking not too droney.
