I browse Shueisha’s Manga Plus a lot, and today I decided to check these three new mangas

Although all three are based on a high school, I gotta say, all three are bangers! Nice art styles, interesting characters (so far) and weirdly unique stories.

Not an inch of isekai shit too, color me impressed!

Agreed, I'll wait however long they wish to take on making it. Such a great little manga that I'm really stoked seeing it animated. Rather have a well made show than something that feels rushed and cheaply made ( looking at you OPM S2 ).

On another note, I’m highly excited for the Chainsaw Man anime, but man we haven’t had a new trailer in months, so I’m honestly thinking there’s an announcement right around the corner that it’s getting delayed to 2023.

But if that means the whole series will be adapted in one go, which shouldn’t be too hard considering 24 episode-seasons still happen from time to time, I will patiently away whatever I have to.

Study time! Went to the jet blast bash over the weekend and drew a few fellas that were at the museum. Lots of solid people both working at and visiting in the museum of flight; I'm thinking about trying to head there more often. Drawn first is the museum's resident Phantom II, and the second is the Commemorative Air Force's AT-19 Reliant.

For DracoPhobos - his SR-71 character Cathartes in the style of the new “Machina Daemonum” setting I’ve been noodling on. More on that later - but one of the key concepts here is that man of the “vehicles” in this world are amalgams of a variety of beasts. Usually a base creature is chosen, and then altered/mutated/infested with specialized “parasites” that complete their design (for example, engines (“propulsors”) are often their own entities that end up fusing with the main body. Visual rule of thumb is “the more horrible, the better” haha. Usually the intelligence or the central “control” comes from an add-on parasite like this, and does not stem from the “base” creature used in the amalgam.
