"Chill lil broski. You're safe now. Those guys ain't gonna pick a fight with me to get to you." Daniel stirred a little less frantically, letting Lucas' voice calm him. "Can... can you take me somewhere safe to be let you?" Daniel cooed, feeling safe in this big strong man's stomach.

"Let you out? Ohhh... you think I'm going to take you somewhere safe.. guess that isn't entirely false. My arms and pecs are safe. No one hardly picks a fight with me, haha. Sorry lil guy if you thought you'd be coming out. Bud, you'll be safest as a part of me. Just relax and let big Lucas take care of you."

Gotta say, that’s not the kind of fruit I thought I’d be walking out with, but it’s honestly better. With a double date all ready, now I just need to decide which one me and my buddy each get.

He looks off, as you reach his waist. You feel a little bad about it, to be 100% honest. Yes, you are hungry; yes, he looks so tasty; and yes, you’ve done this easily a hundred times before without batting an eye, but this is different. He is so calm, so at peace with his situation. Every other time it was this grand struggle where you had to triumph in this game of cat and mouse, but not now. He just looks out, savoring his last sunset, or more accurately what would’ve been his last sunset. Despite all of the fights against you, not once did you not conquer your meal, but this time you do something unprecedented. You slowly guide him back out and let him go. He only has one life, but you’ll have other meals.
