The last alcoholic beverage I had was on December 31st, 2015 at approximately 1830 after work. Lately, I’ve been designated driver for my friends and not really enjoying alcohol anyways. I figured hey, why not do this no alcohol thing. To some it may seem harmless, stupid or just not a big deal. To me, I think it is a big deal. Its another commitment that I need to stick to. Ordering that water with lemon or ginger ale while all my friends reach for a beer or cocktail. Perhaps it’ll make me feel different, see things in a new perspective. I guess we will see what happens! I may break my pact if I go on a trip for graduation, but a 6 month commitment is still a thing!

Humanity, we lost.

This is my city, showing some love for Paris. As some of you might know, half my family lives in Paris. My heart breaks for the cruel sufferings that have occurred, the shattered hearts and lives lost. The shooting at the concert hall was only 10 minutes away from my uncle’s restaurant. I am blessed to say, all my family is okay. Some other families are not. Let’s pray for them...

Let’s also pray for those in Lebanon, along with our unfortunately broken world.
