I LOVE BruHarvey/TwoBats but I struggle to get into reading it because it feels like 90% of the fanfiction for this ship is Bruce trying to reform him, “fix” him, cure him, etc. It’s Bruce being like “it’s okay, even though half of you is an evil monster I still love the other half!” It’s definitely because I have DID myself but like—where’s the TwoBats where Bruce actually loves and accepts Harv? Is committed to ALL parts of him, not just the part he deems good? I’d much rather read about Bruce’s journey to understand and love him on a deeper level (+ that journey with mental health/DID awareness) than read about him trying to get rid of Harv once and for all.

to be fair—a LOT of Bruce/rogue ships are him trying to reform them unfortunately lol but from a DID standpoint Harv didn’t just suddenly pop out of nowhere he was around when Bruce and Harvey were friends too and I’d believe he has strong feelings for Bruce too (even if part of it is hate lol) it’s just that I want a more two dimensional (haha) portrayal of their relationship instead of this classic good vs evil bs I’m thinking this might be where I need to write my own fics for the pairing lol bruharvey twobats two face harvey dent

It’s wiiiiild to me that Two Face is canonically diagnosed with schizophrenia 😭 in the Arkhamverse he’s even diagnosed with schizotypal PD which is laughable because he meets almost none of the criteria and I’m 90% sure they just meant schizophrenia but couldn’t even do enough research to get that right. It’s just like… y’all created a character that has two different names, two different voices (in comics TF/Harv has a different font! In media his voice is different, I’ve even seen subtitles that distinguish between when Harvey vs TF is talking), two different aesthetics, two different lifestyles/desires. He literally refers to himself as WE and US. They created one of the best portrayals of DID I’ve come across and landed on schizophrenia?! It’s wild, every time I resonate with some part of his portrayal and I’m like “wow they got a literal system to resonate with this, it’s literally so good” and then I’m forced to acknowledge that they weren’t even trying to write good DID representation 😭 like bro

Do you plan on uploading the smut you've talked about writing? (No pressure of course, just wanted to check)

is posting directly on tumblr preferable to linking to ao3? much newer to sharing on tumblr so i’m not sure the easiest way to go about it. but yes yes absolutely!! truly so excited to share
