I drew this while watching stuff about Fear and Hunger, and had a thought. What if Larson’s daughter, Addison, instead of dying, turns into some sort of monstrosity? A being who is forever in agony, knowing that the parent who was suppose to protect them did this to them for power.
I just really love making sad stuff, huh?

I have fallen hard into the vampire hole. So. This character is a Hecata vampire who once was in love and in a relationship with a hunter. They were very secretive about it, but they made it work. But, one night, he didn’t show up at their meeting place. That’s when they knew something was wrong. And they found his grave a few nights later. They could bring him back, or talk to his soul again, but they refuse to, even if they want to see him again so badly. And that not bringing him back goes against their nature. They respected him too much to do that to him.
Dialog: “I brought you coffee again. I always hated the smell. But it was…..is your favorite. So why not? It’s another good night. Full moon. No clouds. Perfect for hunting. But I think I’ll stay with you a little longer.”
I’m wondering if I should play around with the concepts of immortality, love, and mortality. I also called my vampire Lazarus. They prefer Laz or Laza. But I’m wondering if the Hunter they loved should actually be dead, or if they faked their death after some sort of nasty run in and had to lay low for years. Long enough for them to grow old before seeing Laz again. I just have this image in my head of Laz getting a mysterious letter telling them to show up at a specific spot. So they go, because why not? Not a lot can kill you when you’re a vampire. They wait, and an hour or so passes before an older gentleman steps into the light of a lamp post. And though she has stolen the color from their hair and left it’s mark on their skin, Laz would still know them. He always had a particular scent. And the first words out of their mouth wouldn’t be one’s of joy. “How dare you? How dare you make me wait! You know I hate waiting! You know I hate it so much and you did it anyway! You selfish bastard! I should end you for all the time you’ve made me waste!” Because during their time when they thought he was dead was the first time they felt time really pass. They feel the years of mourning crushing down on them. But that doesn’t mean they don’t love him. It’s because they love him that they are this angry. That they’ll yell and scream and rage, but never draw their claws or bare their fangs. Because the one person they have wanted to see more than anyone is finally back.

Edi (Edith), a Malkavian who loves to paint and do makeovers for people. She plays music nearly 24/7 so that the Malkavian network has something to listen to. She’s kind of ditzy, or she might just have you think that she is. She’ll never tell~
So, I’ve been listening to the DumbDumbDice podcast “Blood and Syrup”, and it has been slowly taking over my life. But there is literally nearly zero fanart or posts about it. And I think that’s fucking criminal! Riddley Beef alone could take up a bulk of the fanart. So it’s wild to me that there is almost zero fanart! Do yourself a favor. If you like vampires, or the system Vampire: The Masquerade, go listen to Blood and Syrup. The characters are lovely, the story has been intriguing so far, and the episodes are really easy to listen to. So, if you see a man built like a short fridge covered in blood on my blog, you’ll know why.
