There you were, dangling your head off of the comfortable Poseidon cabin bed and listening to your oh-so-loving brother Percy lecture you for the millionth time.
“So stay away from him, understand?” he huffed. “I don’t like Leo. I don’t think I ever will.”
Leo Valdez, your funny, charming, and hot “best friend” who Percy seemed to especially detest. It only made sense since the two of you were always giving each other heart eyes and Percy was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to go off on Leo for getting within two inches of his precious little sister. But of course when someone disapproves of something, that only makes you want to do it more, right?
“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say,” you replied, waving him off. He kept talking as you started to exit the Poseidon cabin, but you didn’t hear the rest of what he said. His words seemed to go in one ear and out the other.
You were a mere 3 steps out the door when you bumped into the eager Latino boy whose demeanor you knew so well. He was leaning against the cabin post, his lopsided grin making butterflies fill your stomach.
“Hey chica,” he said, leaning into you so his face was a mere centimeter away from yours and your noses were barely touching. You jumped back, face red.
“Leo, not here!” you shouted, pulling him away from where you’d be visible from the cabin windows. “Percy would murder me if he found out about us. He just finished reciting a speech about how I have to stay away from you.”
“Guess he’s intimidated by me, then,” the Latino replied, a cocky smile plastered on his face.
You smacked him in the arm. “Don’t get a big head about it.”
“Whatever you say, cariña. To the bunker?”
“To the bunker.”
Time passed rapidly as you two ran through the woods, giggling and ramming into each other like the careless teenagers that you were. It was only natural that you were so caught up in the euphoria of love that you didn’t notice an angry Percy following behind you.
Once you finally arrived at the bunker, Leo pressed you against the outside metal wall and delicately pushed a piece of hair behind your ear.
“Alone at last,” he said, pulling you closer by the waist and burying his face into your neck.
“Away from camp, Chiron, and… crazy older brothers,” you laughed, playing with the curls in his hair. “I missed you.”
“I missed you more, mi amor. Now where were we?”
He leaned in and you closed your eyes, ready to feel his familiar warm lips on yours. What you weren’t expecting was to feel Leo freeze in your grasp, and to hear the voice of someone you thought was long gone.
“I had a feeling you’d be here,” Percy snarled, emerging from the trees where he was hiding.
Leo protectively put an arm around you as Percy drew closer, a deadly expression on his face.
“Perce, it’s-it’s not-” you started.
“What? It’s not what it looks like? I’m pretty sure it’s exactly what it looks like, Y/N,” he said, glaring in Leo’s direction.
Leo balled his fist which started to catch fire. “Okay, so what? We’re dating. What are you going to do about it?”
You held your arm in front of him, holding him back.. “Leo, stay out of this. I have it covered.”
Percy closed his eyes, and with a burst of energy, caused holes in the dirt to erupt like geysers around him. “Oh, you’ll see exactly what I’m going to do about it, hot head.”
“Bring it on, water boy.”
Leo shook himself from your grasp, and the boys raced towards each other until they were standing inches away. Percy held water in his hands, increasing the intensity of the eruptions behind him. Leo engulfed himself in flames, growing flaming hot balls of fire in each hand. They raised their hands to each other’s faces, ready to strike. The sight was terrifying, and you knew if you didn’t do anything now, the two would rip each other to shreds.
“Stop, both of you!” you cried. “Step away!”
The second you made a sound, they both were snapped out of their trance and sheepishly walked away from each other.
“You!” you brokenly shouted, pointing at Percy. “I didn’t tell you because I knew you were going to react like this. Don’t you see? If I told you any other way, you would have just tried to kill him sooner. Are you trying to get your own sister to be scared of you?”
Percy looked like he had just been punched in the gut. “I-”
“Save it! I don’t want to hear your excuses!” you breathed, trying to stop the tears from streaming down your face.
“And you! Leo, I told you to stay out of it!” you wailed. “I said that this was my battle, and we said before that if we ever got caught, I would be the one dealing with it. Why didn’t you just listen to me? If you did, this all could have been prevented and maybe you wouldn’t have been a second away from lighting Percy’s face on fucking fire!”
Leo looked at the floor, unable to meet your eyes. He opened his mouth, but you stopped him before he could speak.
“I don’t want to hear your pitiful excuse either.”
The boys shuffled in place, now scared of you rather than each other.
“I’m going to my cabin. I’m pissed at the both of you. Think about how if the both of you weren’t so obsessed with being better than the other that maybe I wouldn’t feel so hurt right now. Think about that.”
You got up to leave and trudged through the woods, not daring to look back.
Hours passed as you cried to yourself in the cozy cabin, covered in layers and layers of blankets. Your friends didn’t dare check in on you, knowing how mad you were and knowing how you’d rip their head off if they tried to talk to you. Besides, this was something you needed to figure out by yourself. The choice of love or family. Why couldn’t you have both?
It started to get dark outside, and you heard a faint knock on your door as you were getting ready to go to sleep.
“Go away,” you slurred.
“It’s me, Y/N,” Percy called. “This is my cabin too.”
“Sleep on the porch for all I care,” you yelled back. “I don’t want to see your stupid face.”
He sighed. But honestly, what was he expecting?
“Can I please come in? I brought someone.”
You looked up to see Leo hesitantly wave through the window. Not wanting to see his stupid face either, you buried yourself deeper in the covers.
“I’m still mad at both of you.”
“Will you at least hear us out?” Leo pleaded.
You hesitated before answering, coming to the conclusion that you were too tired to argue. “Fine.”
The boys entered, seated on the foot of your bed. You sat up but still refused to look them in the eyes.
“Oh wow, the two of you in the same room and not trying to cut each other’s heads off? Surprising.” you muttered. They just glanced at each other.
“So, um, we came here to say something,” Percy started, looking to Leo for support.
“Okay, and?”
“And, we came to a consensus.”
“That consensus is-”
“-that we’re both going to put our differences aside,”
“For you, because we care about you,”
“-and we love you, and we hate to see you hurt like this.”
“Yes, we fucked up, and yes, we let our emotions and egos get the better of us.”
“But we promise that won’t happen again because from now on we’re going to try to be nicer and better to each other.”
“For your sake.”
“Because we both agree on one thing-”
“-And that thing is that you’re important, and you should never feel hurt, or sad, or mad, because of us.”
“So yeah. We’re really sorry, but we get it if you don’t want to forgive us just yet.”
For the first time since they got here, you looked at the boys. You saw the sincerity in their eyes, and the genuinity in their hearts. You imagined them rehearsing this, making sure they got the words and the order right just for your sake. You decided that maybe if they spent so much time preparing something to make sure you were okay and you didn’t go to bed upset that maybe they really did care about you. Maybe they would try to be better for the future.
You broke into a smile and tackled them in a group hug. “Come here, you dorks. I can’t stay mad forever.”
They smiled, and Leo breathed a sigh of relief. “Great, so you’re not going to break up with me?”
“Of course not, hammer brain,” you reassured him, then intensely glared at the both of them. “But if you two ever go all firebender vs waterbender again, you’re dead meat.”
“Yes ma’am,” Percy said, leaning into the hug.

Requests:
I combined this lovely request from @moonstarsandlovely
Hi! I have a Lee (Bones and All) request. We don’t have a confirmed date for Lee’s birthday. So, I think it would be a cute fic idea that surrounds Lee’s birthday and how Reader celebrates it with him.
Happy Holidays 🎁
And this anon one
DO MORE LEE X EATER!READER FICS WITH ANGST AND FLUFF I BEG YOU 🤩
YOUR WRITING IS SO GOOD
Wordcount: 4.3K+
Masterlist
Description: An empty pit consumes Lee when he wakes up without you with him. Memories of the pains assault his mind as he tries to figure out where you've gone and if you'll be back.
A/N: Ending Timmy's bday with a little angsty Lee. That description is dramatic, but it's almost 2 am. I had so much fun writing this. I started it when I first got the request and finished it as I watched Bones and All. It is probably my favorite thing right now. This is the same couple from Puzzle Piece. This takes place about a year or so later.
Warning: Angst to fluff. Lots of flashbacks. Mention of suicide. Murder, cannibalism. Feeling of unworthiness. Lots of tears eaterreader, blackreader

“Kayla, have you heard from her? She didn’t call you?” Lee asked worriedly down the phone to his sister.
Kayla sighed leaning against the wall. “No Lee. I have not heard from her since the last time you called an hour ago. Are you sure she didn’t say where she was going?”
“No. No. She was just gone when I woke up. I-I don’t understand. Things were going well with us. We got jobs and a cute little place. We were happy. No, we are happy, but I don’t understand why she would. Do... Do you think she found someone else?”
“Lee, she loves you. You two are soulmates.” Kayla assured him. “Maybe she’s busy with work?”
“I called her work,” he said. He could feel tears in his eyes. There was nothing in this world, besides his sister, that meant more to him than you. From the moment you both found each other again, Lee vowed he would never lose you again. That he would make you happy. That you both would have the life you both dreamed of.
“Don’t get yourself all worked up, Lee. She loves you. I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for why she isn’t home or called you.”
Lee wiped his eyes nodding. “Okay. Yeah, I’m sure there is. It’s just why today of all days.”

“Lee. Lee. Lee,” you whispered excitedly as you saw him walking down the hallway. You were hiding behind some lockers and were waving him over before he went into his classroom.
He grinned all softly and bashfully as he made his way over to you. Lee leaned against the lockers leaning down and kissing you softly. Your eyes fluttered and you kissed him back lovingly.
Lee slowly pulled away and touched the side of your face. “Hi, Honeybee. I missed you in homeroom,” he pouted.
“You saw me last night,” you said with a playful eye roll. “But I missed you too,” you added pressing your lips softly to his for a few moments. “But there is a reason I was not in class. Come with me,” you said grabbing his hand.
“Are we skipping school? What will your mother think?” He teased but held your hand tightly as you both ran towards the front doors.
You rolled your eyes again. You glanced over your shoulder at him, smiling. “Oh, she would have a heart attack. Maybe even try to send me to my Nan in Phoenix, But this is worth it.”
“Worth it?” He asked.
You nodded excitedly. “Now run,” you said taking off running with his hand still firmly in yours. Lee laughed and ran alongside you. You both laughed, skipped, and danced as you made your way towards the lake.
With most people at work or in school, the lake was bare. It would be the perfect place for your surprise with your boyfriend. You paused before you got to your spot. “Okay, close your eyes,” you said.
“Close my eyes? You aren’t going to kill me, are you?” He smirked.
“Never. I love you too much,” you assured him. Lee softened and he kissed you sweetly. He’s hands moved to your waist pulling you close. He melted against you, and you leaned into you more.
Lee and your eyes fluttered close as you got lost in each other. But all too soon, you pulled away. Lee whined trying to press his lips back to yours. You just chuckled and pulled him along to the picnic basket you had by the lake.
“What’s all of this?” Lee asked, his face flushing a deep shade of red.
“What do you think? It’s your birthday, Lee. And we are going to celebrate it, together?” You said pulling him over to the blanket and pulling him down with you. “I made all of your favorites, and I got a cake from that little shop you like on Main Street. And I didn’t have a lot of money to get you a gift, but I made you so-“
Lee's lips crashed down on yours taking you by surprise. He held you tightly in his arms as he kissed you to convey just how much you meant to him. You softened and moved your mouth against his in perfect sync.
Pulling away you smiled warmly at him. “What was that for?” You asked.
“What was that for? Because I love you. Because you. Because you’re my whole world. Every day I get up to go to school for you. Nothing else matters. And you did this for me and. I love it and I love you.” Lee grabbed your face and kissed you tenderly. Your heart fluttered and your stomach tightened into knots at his words.
“I love you, Lee. Always.” You said against his lips.
“Promise me,” he asked softly, looking at you through his lashes.
“Always. I am never going to love anyone like I love you, Lee. You make me incredibly happy. You see me and you love me,” you said, playing with the bottom of his shirt.
“Hey,” he whispered, grabbing your chin and making you make eye contact with him. “It is because I see you that I love you. I see the person you are. My person. And I had no choice but to love you.” He spoke full of emotions.
You peck his lips again. But when you tried to pull away Lee followed you, climbing into your lap and crushing your lips together. Your body hummed and you could hear your blood pumping in your ears.
Lee’s hands traveled to your shirt, slipping under and touching the edge of your bra. You gasped into his mouth and his tongue plunged into your mouth. You tangled your hands into his hair and pulled him closer.
You broke the kiss and turned your head when he tried to kiss you again. “Lee,” you sighed.
He laughed and kissed your jaw. “I’m sorry. I got carried away again.”
“No, It’s okay. It’s just it’s your birthday we should eat and enjoy the lake before school and work is out.”
He nodded but made no move to get out of your lap and you didn’t try to move him. “We are going to be together forever, right?” He asked.
“Of course, Lee. You’re my person too.”
He smiled getting up and offered you, his hand. “Let’s go for a dip.” He pulled you up and you crashed into his chest. You giggled and he smiled at you wider. “Last one in has to go back to school,” he said before taking off running.
“Lee. That’s cheating. “
“All is fair in love and war, Honeybee.”
You ran after him and tackled him to the ground just before he got to the lake. “You’re almost an adult, Lee. Grow up,” you teased.
“Hey, I have two more years until I’m 18,” he chuckled rolling you both until you were in the lake.
You squealed and swam to the surface. Lee popped up next to you, pulling you into his arms. “I don’t even when you are an adult you’ll grow up.”
“Is that a bad thing?”
“No. I like you the way you are, Lee.”

“Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?” Lee said pacing the bedroom. He glanced at the clock and then the phone and paced again. His hands twitched and the longer you were gone the hunger he got.
“She’s gone. She couldn’t put up with your bull shit so she left. Why wouldn’t she? You’re a mess. Look at your stupid hair and your fucking shirt. She’s probably with someone better.” He ranted to himself. He was crying but he ignored it as he wiped his face.
“Get yourself together. This is the shit that got you abandoned.” He slapped his face a few times. Lee grabbed his house keys and walked out of the apartment.

“Lee. Lee. Lee,” you whispered shouted as you threw a rock at his window hoping to not wake his parents. You glanced down the road and anxiousness as you didn’t want to get caught.
Your mother would never let you out of the house if she knew you had snuck out to meet with Lee. She already wanted you to stop seeing him, but you refused. “Lee. Lee,” you said a bit louder throwing another rock.
“Ouch. Honeybee?” He asked from his opened window. You smiled moving closer to him and smiling happily at him.
“Hi, Lee. Happy birthday. Come out. I have a surprise for you.”
“A surprise for me?” He asked jumping out of the window and trapping into the brushes. You covered your mouth to hide your laughter, but Lee still heard you and narrowed your eyes. He playfully bared his teeth at you.
You just walked over to him and put your hands under his shirt and pulled him closer. Lee shivered and pressed his body up against yours. “Hi,” you grinned.
“Hi,” he said back. You sealed your lips in a soft and languid kiss almost forcing him up against the side of his house. He whimpered softly and you groaned biting his lip. Something strid in the pit of your body and you felt a hunger burn your throat. You bit his lip harder until he bled.
You gasped and pulled away. Lee’s eyes had closed during your kiss but when you pulled away. “What’s wrong?” He asked.
You shook your head. Something was wrong with you, but you pushed that aside. You couldn’t deal with that right now. It was Lee’s birthday and you wanted to spend it with him. “Nothing. I just think we should get going.”
“Going?” He asked placing his hand in yours.
“Yeah. To our lake. It is after midnight which means it is your birthday and I got you this amazing gift. You are going to love it,” you gushed as you pulled him along.
“A gift? It isn’t you?” He teased.
“Oh Lee you are adorable, but no. It’s a hat. You are going to look so amazing in it.” You were too excited to keep it a secret. Last year you had little money to get him a cake and a gift, but you had a summer job and worked your butt off to be able to get him something this year.
“And I got cake as well, but I made it this time. I thought it would be more romantic, but if you hate it. I’ll go buy you another as soon as the stores open up.”
“No no. You baked for me?” He asked shyly, running his hands through his curls. “That’s amazing. And is very romantic. If I could, I would love you more, but you already mean everything.”
You smiled and kissed his hand. “How is your lip?” You asked as the lake came into view.
He shrugged. “It’s fine. A little blood doesn’t scare me. I didn’t know you were into biting though.”
You shrugged your shoulders. “I don’t know why I did it. Sorry if I hurt you.”
“You could never,” he said wrapping his arm around your waist. You nodded happily and moved to the spot you had set up.
“You know there are bears and stuff. You really shouldn’t leave this here. You know I can help you set it up for next year.”
“I like setting it up and surprising you.” You sat him down and opened your basket and pulled out the small chocolate cake you baked that horribly said to Lee with love. “What do you think?”
Lee looked from the cake and then to you. “Are you kidding me? It’s perfect and I love it and I love you,” he leaned forward and kissed you. “I can’t wait to taste it. Let’s cut a piece and share it.”
“Okay, let’s do that,” you said pulling out a knife and cutting a big slice for the both of you. “I forgot forks,” you said sheepishly.
“Well good things we have fingers,” he teased, kissing your nose. He dug into the cake and held it to your mouth. You took his fingers into your mouth and moaned at the taste.
Lee watched you closely. “You like it?”
“Yeah. You should try some.” Lee nodded opening his mouth. You grab some cake and fed it to him. He closed his lips around your fingers and slowly licked the icing off.
You held your breath as you watched him. His eyes slide up your arms, across your chest, and then connected with yours.
“Hmm. My girl is a really good baker,” he said.
You ducked your head and pulled your fingers away. “I’m glad you like it.”
“I told you. I’ll love anything you make,” he knocked his forehead against yours making you chuckle softly, tilting your head until your lips met.

Lee stood in the shadows as he watched people walk by. He was jittery and willed himself to calm down until he found someone. He knew he would have to be quick and the possibility of being caught was high, but he didn’t care. He didn’t care about anything.
A group of guys stumbled out of a bar. They were shoving each other, drunkenly and he waited for one of them to fuck up. He knew it would happen sooner or later. He was near the University campus and drunk college guys always made a mistake.
It didn’t take long for one woman to cross their path and one of the men started to catcall her and follow her down the street. Lee waited until they were passing him before he lashed out and hit the man.
Drunk as he was, the man didn’t stay down for long. The girl took off running and his friends were still stumbling down the street. “You like playing on defenseless people, well pick on me,” Lee growled as he went at the man again.
The man chuckled and tackled Lee to the ground and started punching him repeatedly. Lee groaned as he felt his nose crunch and blood paint his face. “Is that all you got?” He asked slipping his hand into his pocket and grabbing his knife stabbing the man in the neck.
The man’s eyes widened, and Lee pulled the knife out watching as the blood rained down on them. The man put his hand on his neck to stop the bleeding, but Lee used that as the opportunity to flip him over and start tearing out his skin eating him.
His mind was blank of everything but feeding. He pushes his pain and heartbreak away to focus on the singular feeling of his hunger. You both agreed to try to stop killing so close to home and try to control your hunger more. You were better than him, he had some slip-ups, but none like now.
Lee ate until he felt sick. He stumbled out of the alley disoriented. He looked both ways but there were so many lights and people he didn’t know what to do. He was drenched in blood and still was starving, but he wasn’t sure for what.
Somehow, he made it back to your building without being seen. He assumed he was still in his right frame of mind enough to stick to the shadows as he moved. He stumbled up the stairs running into one of the college students that lived next door.
She screamed and he was quick to jump back. “Don’t scream. Don’t scream.” He was sobbing again and trying to stop her from screaming. He didn’t want to hurt her, but he didn’t want to get caught. She fought against him as he covered her mouth. The noise caused a door nearby to open and Lee cursed only to see you worrying making your way over to them.
“Lee? What’s going on? Let her go,” you said tugging on his arms. He had to be dreaming. You were gone. He’s lost his mind. His legs gave out and he dropped to the floor. You were shouting at him. The girl was still screaming.
“I’m bad. I’m bad. I’m bad,” he repeated crying more and more. Your lips were moving but it felt like he was underwater. He couldn’t hear anything but his own words circling around in his head.

He woke up with a startle, sitting up straight in bed. He glanced around the empty room and patted himself down. He was shirtless but clean of blood. His nose ached and he could still taste the man from the alley.
He hoped it had been a dream. He pulled his knees up to his chest crying into them as he rocked on the bed. He couldn’t remember anything after you arrived. Or he thought you did. Maybe you weren’t there and he just killed that poor girl and then cleaned himself up.
“Oh Lee,” you said rushing into the room and cradling him into your arms. “Hey hey. Calm my love. It’s me. I got you,” you consoled him. Rocking him in your arms. You soothingly ran your fingers through his hair. Lee clung to you, burying his face in your clothes.
“Honeybee. Honeybee, I’m so bad. I hurt that girl. I killed a man and I drove you away. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
“No no. Lee, you aren’t bad. You are good. You’re my good boyfriend. My puzzle piece, my other half. You couldn’t drive me away even if you wanted to. You didn’t hurt her. She was just a bit freaked out.”
He sobbed unable to listen to your words, so you just held him tightly and sang softly to him to get him to calm down. You were frightened when you opened the apartment door to see him covered in blood and attacking your neighbor.
When you came home and saw that he wasn’t there you assumed he was going to the store for cigarettes but from his state, it was clear that he had eaten. You weren’t mad at him, just concerned. He was doing so well and when he needed to eat, you both went together. Made sure to drive hours away and then ate together.
When he passed out you knocked out the girl and dragged her into your apartment. You both made a lot of noise, and it seemed like you would have to move so you ate her. Once you were finished you moved Lee to the bedroom and cleaned him up. Then you went out and looked for his victim. You found and buried him and then returned him cleaning all the blood and packing.
You were just putting the last of the bags by the door when you heard him wake up. You patted his hair and smeared kisses along his forehead as he calmed down, hiccupping and sniffling occasionally. “Baby, what happened?”
“You were gone all day. I-I thought you left me. I thought you were sick of me. I called your work, and I called your coworkers, Kayla. No one heard from you. I thought the worst.” The worst being you abandoned him.
“Never Lee. It’s us together. Always remember? There is no one else I want. No one else that understands me and sees me the way you do. I love you, Lee.”
He sniffed pulling back to stare at you with sad green eyes. “Really? You didn’t leave me.”
You wiped his tears and kissed him under each eye. “The only thing that has ever made sense is the world is you. I’ve spent enough time without you, and I was miserable. I never want to feel that again. I’m not going anywhere.”
Lee just wrapped himself around you once more and pressed his face into your chest. Sobs shook his body. “I’m sorry. I-I shouldn’t have doubted you. But it’s my birthday and I was so used to us together. And I got into my own head.”
You shushed him, pressing your mouth to his in a wet sloppy kiss. “Lee, my baby. I’m sorry I should have left a note. I got a second job and I’ve been working to save up to get us a new car. So we can hit the road and travel more. See the country. I went to get my check and then get our van.”
“A van?” He mumbled into your chest. You giggled and pulled on a red curl.
“Yes. You said you always wanted a van. I got us a used one for a good deal. Not too many mileages. It can take us anywhere.” While you both liked it when you were settled and got to play normal, it was just a game. You both wanted the open road and freedom to be who you were. No dirty looks and whispers, no fear. Just your love to guide you around.
“I fucked up badly, honeybee.”
“It’s okay. I fixed everything. It’s all taken care of. I’m sorry for leaving Lee.”
“No, this is on me,” he said miserably.
“I’m not upset. It’s okay. We were going to leave eventually. We just have to do it tonight.”
Lee pulled away and stood up from the bed. “I’ll pack then,” he said making around the room, but you grabbed his hand.
“I already did. Let’s just go. Yeah. I still have a birthday surprise for you?”
He nodded shoving his empty hand into his pocket. “I’m not sure I deserve anything after today.”
“Don’t be like that. Don’t make things hard. You got overwhelmed by your emotions. You got hungry. I am not blaming you and neither should you. It happens. That is just who we are. Both of us.”
You squeezed his hand and cuffed the side of his face. “Don’t beat yourself up, please,” you mumbled before kissing him. Lee surrendered to the familiarity of your lips and frantically kissed you both. He brought your clasped hands up to his neck and wrapped your arm around his shoulder. His free hand dug into the back of your shorts pulling you close.
“Fuck, I love you,” he mumbled, resting his forehead on yours. “Do you love me? As me?”
“Of course. I see you and that is why I love you.” You kissed him once more before pulling him out of the bedroom. You grabbed the bags as you both walked out of the apartment and down the stairs toward your van. You put Lee in the passenger side. Kissed his cheeks and then his lips and moved to the driver's side.
Lee was relaxed. A slight smile on his face and his eyes half opened. He had worked himself up so much and while he did pass out earlier. He was still exhausted. He grasps your hand in his. “Thank you,” he said.
You glanced over at him smiling. “For what?”
“For being you. For loving me. For this van and just sticking with me.”
“You don’t have to thank me for any of it. I do it all happily for my sweet Lee.”
“I haven’t been sweet in a long time. Maybe not ever.”
You scoffed kissing the back of his hand. “You’ve always been my sweet Lee and you always will be. You have always been my friend, my protector, and the love of my life. I couldn’t imagine my life without you.”
“When I killed my dad. All I could think about was what if I hurt you? I came to you that night. I wanted you to come with me, but I was glad you didn’t. Because I would have killed myself if I hurt you.”
“Do you remember your last birthday? Before we broke up and you left town?”
He nodded. “I bite you then,” you said quietly. “It was the first time I tasted blood and I craved more, and I was afraid. I felt the hunger deep within me. I was able to push it away for a few more months. Ignore it because I had you and I didn’t want to hurt you. But when you were gone, it was hard. So I left. The first time I ate. I cried so hard. I want to kill myself. I had the razer to my wrist, but I heard your voice in my head. It stopped me. You saved me,” you said.
Lee leaned over and kissed your cheek and rested his forehead on your cheek. “You save me every day.”

Lee fell asleep soon after that and you drove for hours. His head rests on your shoulder. You took your eyes off the road every few minutes and kissed the crown of his curls. Your hunger was awful sometimes. It was uncontrolled, but it did not rival the hunger, the burning desire and love you had for Lee.
When you felt empty it was Lee that you needed to refuel. You stopped the van and turned off the car. You turned and ghosted your fingers along his face. His freckles, the slope of his nose, his cupid’s bow. It was all things you had committed to memory and yet still was drawn to every day.
Lee stirred as your fingers traced his lips. His mouth opened and your fingers slipped in. Lee moaned and his eyes opened to clash with yours. You smiled rubbing your nose against his, causing him to laugh. You withdrew your fingers and pressed a kiss to his lips.
“Where are we?” He asked tiredly.
“A lake.” He perked up looking out the window. You smiled and opened your door. “Well come on. It’s our birthday tradition and we only have a few hours left. I have a chocolate cake in the back, but I want to take a dip with you first.”
Lee quickly climbed out of the car and met you at the front. You held your hand out and he slipped his fingers in between yours.
You both looked down at your hands before looking up at each other. “Last one into the lake has to drive,” you said, shoving his shoulders and taking off run.
“That’s cheating,” he shouted taking off after you.
“All is fair in love and war, Lee.”

wc: 3.2k
warning(s): fem!daughter of demeter reader. luke is his own warning. kind of unhealthy relationship, weird vibes all around

The stars were brighter than ever tonight.
It was one of the first things that stuck out to you when you got to camp, and it was one of the first things that you noticed when you first got on the road with Luke.
You’d always loved the stars. They were a rare sight coming from the city, such a sign of nature and purity that it honestly shouldn’t have been a surprise when you were claimed. You still remembered the shock that went through you when you first saw what a night sky free of pollution could be, and you still remembered the first time you risked your life with the harpies just to spend the night star-gazing.
And you could never forget the first time you dragged Luke along with you, his wry protests falling on deaf ears though he grinned the entire way down to the beach, his hand laced in yours.
Gods.
Luke.
Even the thought of him these days was enough to make your heart clench, a slight shiver run down your spine, and you weren’t fully sure as to why.
You loved him. You ran away with him. Every path that led you here, you willingly chose to walk down.
But you still questioned every second of every godsdamned day if they were the right decisions. Especially now, as you sat alone in front of the fire, carefully stoking it with one of the few dry sticks you’d been able to find after taking shelter—in your own haphazard tent made of vines and tree trunks and any other bits of nature you’d managed to sprout from the ground with your powers—to wait out a rainstorm.
You decided to spend the night, deciding that traveling through the darkness was too risky after the last monster attack, but the minutes couldn’t have been creeping by slower. If being in nature didn’t quite literally fuel you, you knew you would be far more miserable than you already were.
You loved Luke with all your heart, and if he was willing to potentially throw off his entire plan just so he could bring you with him, then he had to love you the same. You owed him this, at least, to not abandon him.
You— you didn’t want to serve Kronos, but you didn’t want to serve the gods, either. Your mother abandoned you before you were old enough to know what the word meant, leaving you on your father’s doorstep swaddled in blankets and with a note that he still had to this day.
Demeter left your father to raise you on his own, left you to live the half-life of a half-blood, and hardly paid attention to you since. She didn’t help you when you were on the road to camp with your satyr, wondering if every bump in the night would be your end, and she let you feel worthless for an entire year before she finally decided you were deserving of her claim.
Or maybe she just finally remembered you existed.
You understood Luke’s anger—you felt it yourself more than you liked to admit—but the path he was on was a dangerous one. You doubted you could take him off of it, but you could keep him safe, and you could prevent more damage. That was all you cared about at this point.
How long you could walk this line was an entirely different question.
You sensed him before you heard him even lost in your thoughts, but the snapping of twigs still made your breath catch for a moment. You kept your gaze on the fire as you spoke.
“Anything?”
“These woods are surprisingly bare for the time of year,” Luke said as he set his backpack on the ground, kneeling down to rifle through it. “I feel like Artemis is punishing me.”
“Well, she doesn’t exactly have a reason to help you,” you said wryly. You gestured with your head towards the miniature orchard you’d been making at each one of your camps—one pro of your parentage was that you—hopefully—wouldn’t ever starve on the road. You’d been growing plants since you realized you could, so it was practically second nature at this point. “Fruit’s on the menu, if you’re interested.”
Luke chuckled as he walked over, and as he plucked a perfectly ripe strawberry, he glanced at you. “Feeling nostalgic?”
You shrugged. You wondered which of your siblings would be in charge of the strawberries with you gone. You hoped Mr. D wouldn’t give it to one of his kids. “Do you blame me?”
“Not at all.” He popped it into his mouth then took an apple from the smallest tree you’d been able to grow. “It was home for us both, for a while.”
You bit your lip. It still was your home—it had been for the past four years. You wanted to go back eventually, but you felt like you had sealed your coffin by going with Luke. Would they ever welcome you back, knowing you willingly followed him into the darkness?
“How long do you think we’ll be on the road?” you asked, finally looking over at him as he sat down across from you. “Not that I don’t enjoy being with you, but… it’s not exactly the safest.”
“At least another week or two,” Luke said. You tried your hardest to keep your expression even as he settled the full force of his gaze on you—you couldn’t deal with the scrutiny. “I need to make sure they’ve lost our trail. The last thing we need is a questing group on our asses.”
You huffed a laugh. “You think they’ll actually send anyone after us?”
Luke shrugged. “If all went well, camp is in total disarray. If it didn’t, they still know I’m with Kronos. I can’t imagine Chiron would take that lightly. And,” he inclined his head, “I did kidnap you.”
You scoffed. “You didn’t kidnap me.”
“They’ll probably think so,” he said, and there was something strange in his eyes. “Doesn’t make sense for you to come with me willingly.”
This again. “Luke—”
“I know,” he said, a slight smile on his lips. There wasn’t much heart in it. “You don’t have to explain yourself again.”
“I just don’t want you to think I’m not with you,” you said. “I— I am. I’m only here for you, Luke.”
His eyes softened. “You mean it?”
“I do,” you nodded. “I couldn’t just leave you.”
“I don’t take any of this lightly, you know.” His eyes never wavered from yours, the orange light flickering across his face and casting a devilish shadow. “You being here means the world. Nothing’s gonna happen to you—I’ll make sure of it.”
“I’m not just gonna lay you out to dry, either,” you said wryly. “We’ll protect each other. Like we always have.”
“Exactly,” Luke affirmed. He bit into the apple he’d seemingly forgot about, and you looked up at the sky in the resulting silence.
It felt like your mind always drifted back to camp, back to your siblings and friends and the victims of Luke’s crusade.
Your summer siblings who would come back next year and wonder where you went, your year-rounders waking up the next morning and all the mornings after with a discontented glance at your bed.
How long would it take for them to forget you? For you to just be another lost demigod in the camp files?
And poor Annabeth Chase. Luke practically raised her, and he walked out on her without a word—you considered yourself lucky he didn’t do the same to you, and you had no idea what awaited you on your path together.
The gods had never been one for listening, and certainly not to you, but you hoped at least one of them would look down on you. Maybe your mother could provide some of that wizened second child advice, shine her favor on you for the first time in your life.
Well. You doubted Demeter would very much appreciate your quasi-support of the titan that ate her. The thing you should have considered yourself lucky for was that your powers still worked.
Luke brought you back to Earth by saying your name, and your gaze snapped back down to meet his. His scar seemed especially grisly in the firelight, at odds with the softness of his expression—something that felt all too rare these days.
“What’s on your mind?” he asked.
“What else could possibly be on it?” you asked wryly, tossing the stick you’d been fiddling with into the fire. It crackled as the flames devoured it, something so out of its realm thrust into it anyways.
“Stupid question,” he admitted.
“We’re practically fugitives, Luke,” you said. “We have monsters after us, and possibly people from camp. We left everyone behind. I’m with you, trust me, but— but I can’t just get over it all as easily as you.”
“And I get that,” he said. “This—” he sighed and shook his head— “you really don’t know how much you being here means to me. I thought I was going to be out on my own on all this.”
Your throat bobbed. You’d never tell him, but you didn’t even know what your answer was going to be until the words left your mouth.
“And you’re telling me that you’d still choose them over me?”
“No,” you said. “I wouldn’t.”
Luke’s eyes softened and your throat felt like it was closing up.
“Then come with me,” he whispered. “We will change the world together.”
“I can’t,” you asserted. “I can’t just leave everyone behind— I’d be leaving my entire life behind, Luke!”
“You’ll help them more this way,” Luke insisted. “The gods aren’t on our side—we’re here so they don’t have to pay attention to us. If we want anything to change for the better, we’re gonna have to do it ourselves.”
You bit your lip, and he brushed a strand of hair out of your face.
“I wouldn’t ask you this if I didn’t think you were right for it,” he murmured, tilting his head as he gazed into your eyes. “Your mother’s never bothered to see you before. I’m gonna make her see you.”
“How?” you asked, hating the hints of desperation coloring your voice.
“You’ll see,” he said. “But we’re gonna do something so big that no one’s going to be able to ignore us.”
Memories of the past four years flashed through your mind, but the two at the forefront were ones with Luke and ones without your mother.
He’d always been there for you, even when Demeter—especially when she wasn’t.
You couldn’t just leave him on his own. Not when he was baring his soul to you—not when his quest for greatness included it for you too.
Not when he was the first boy you ever loved, the one who brought you back from the god-induced edge.
“…Okay,” you said, the word feeling like an ultimatum the moment it left your lips. “Okay. I’ll go with you.”
He stared at you for a second like he didn’t hear you, or rather like he didn’t actually believe it. And then he broke out into a grin.
“Really?”
“Yes, really,” you said. “Have I ever lied to you?”
“Go to your cabin and pack your bags,” Luke said, still unable to control his exuberant expression. We’ll meet each other at the top of the hill.”
“Right now?”
Luke nodded. “Only a couple hours until we’re harpy feed. Everyone’ll think we’re just leaving for the school year.”
“You’ve always been a year-rounder,” you said. “Won’t people—”
“It doesn’t matter,” he said. “No one’ll think anything of it. We just have to get out before anyone asks any questions.”
“Luke,” you murmured, “are you—”
Luke cut you off with a blazing kiss, the same kind of fire in his eyes when he pulled away, a slight smile on his lips at leaving you breathless.
“I’m sure,” he whispered. “You’re not going to regret this. I promise.”
It was all you could do to stare up at him, his grip on your arms the only thing keeping you upright for a solid moment.
“Go,” he said. “Take your time—don’t draw any suspicion. I’ll meet you there.”
“You’re really sure?” you asked, finally able to form words. “Really really sure? About this, a— and me?”
He cupped your cheek, tracing his thumb along your jaw. “I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life than I am about you.”
Leaving camp was insane—when Luke told you of Kronos’s plans, it was even more insane—but it had always been you and Luke. He’d been such a huge part of your life, ever since you first came to camp, that you couldn’t imagine yourself without him.
And when you looked back at him, illuminated by the fire, you were sure of at least one thing.
You weren’t leaving any time soon. Not when you could still fix all of this.
A yawn got the better of you, and you felt Luke’s eyes on you as you covered your mouth with a fist.
“You should get to sleep,” he said. “It’s been a long day.”
“It’s been a long day for both of us,” you said. “We both had to get here—and you were the one who wandered around in the woods for two hours trying to hunt.”
“How do you know I wandered?” Luke asked, setting the apple core down on the ground next to him. “You weren’t there. Maybe I had a very respectable saunter and just came up with nothing.”
You chuckled. “The trees speak to me.”
“Really?” he asked, clearly amused. “And what did they say?”
“That you’re an awful hunter,” you mused, “and you should be very thankful that your girlfriend is good at everything.”
Luke smirked and got up to start walking towards you. “Your ever-knowledgeable trees should know that I already know.” He kneeled down in front of you, a slight smile curling on your lips. “And that I am very thankful.”
He pressed a heated kiss to your lips, and you reciprocated, looping an arm around him to keep him close before you pulled away.
“It’s always good to hear it,” you murmured.
“I’ll say it as many times as you need,” he assured. Luke stole another kiss then gestured towards your makeshift tent. “But you do need to get some sleep. We’re picking up at first light.”
Your smile wavered. “We’ve been moving break-neck for a week already. Are you sure we can’t ease up?”
“Soon,” Luke promised. “I told you, I just want to make sure we’ve lost any tails. We can’t afford that right now.”
He must have seen the change in your expression, because his eyes softened and he took your hand. “It won’t be like this forever, babe. You can handle it.”
“It doesn’t mean I want to,” you said dryly, but you sighed as you squeezed his hand. “I’ll turn in if you do too.”
“Anything for you,” Luke said with a smile. You chuckled and shook your head as you stood up, and Luke grabbed his backpack before he went over to the tent with you.
Your meager belongings weren’t much. You’d stuffed all the demigod essentials, some outfits, and a sleeping bag in your pack before hightailing it to Thalia’s tree, and Luke hadn’t packed much more—but at least it was light traveling.
Every night had been spent in the same way, sharing your sleeping bag as you got what precious sleep Luke allocated before you were back on the road again. You were sure the only thing that got you through each early rising was his soft touches and easy murmured words.
You laid down, staring up at the roof of brambles and bark, and you twisted your hand just so to make them twist away from each other for a small opening.
Luke raised an eyebrow at you as he zipped his bag up, still crouched on the ground. “What’s that for?”
You shrugged. “I’ve always liked sleeping under the stars.”
Again, that small smile. It could still make you melt, even now. “I remember. I just hope it doesn’t start raining again.”
“Like rain’ll be the worst thing we’ve dealt with,” you said wryly. “Besides, I can feel it in the air. We’re gonna be fine.”
“Yeah,” he said. “We are.”
You glanced over and he was looking at you. You patted the spot next to you.
“C’mon,” you said. “I’m cold.”
“Oh, we can’t have that,” he said, amused, and he huddled in next to you. You let out a contented sigh as his body heat sunk into you, and he draped an arm across you to pull you closer.
“That better?” he asked.
You hummed in response. “Thank you.”
“Always.”
You closed your eyes as you exhaled deeply, trying your best to unwind the tension in every part of your body. You weren’t used to trekking miles every day, eating rations you’d packed from camp or gas station food from whenever you ended up close to town, only having the woods and the sky and Luke for company. It was starting to wear on you, but you weren’t going to let Luke know.
“I love you,” Luke said suddenly, breaking the silence, his breath tickling your neck. Your eyes snapped open. “You know that, right?”
A moment passed before you murmured, “I know.”
You could feel some of the tension leave his body, and he adjusted his position to be closer to you.
“Good.”
His curls brushed against your skin as he rested his head in the crook of your neck. Luke was a comforting presence behind you, like an anchor in the choppy waters you’d thrown yourself into, but it… it just felt different than the countless other times.
But that was only natural. You were back on the road, living the way you did when you first made the trip to Camp Half-blood with your satyr. Of course it felt different than the crowded chaos of the Hermes cabin, or the beach underneath a tapestry of stars, or your own bed at the behest of your siblings. The only thing that stayed the same was the scent of nature, and the scent of Luke.
Things were different, yes, but you knew that would happen. Luke was different, but you knew that would happen—half the reason you came along with him was because you wanted to make sure he had a lifeline, a way to come back to shore when he decided his crusade was over.
Because it had to be over eventually. He would decide that there was no way you could beat the gods, that it wasn’t worth killing himself over some meaningless mission. The gods had never cared about you before—you didn’t know why they would care about some half-baked rebellion by two of their least favorite kids.
You loved Luke. He loved you. You told yourself that was all that mattered, because you were in this together now.
For better or for worse.
FINDING YOU

Paring: Percy Jackson x Child of Demeter reader
Summary: You were Percy's first friend, you were the only one who did not think he was weird. It was like you understood him, it was like you were like him. That was when you disappeared, leaving Percy alone with people bullying him. Percy promised that day that he would find you, no matter what.
Warnings: The reader is female(sorry) and angst.
Author's note: So I just realised that I was not writing for Percy so here it is!

Luke was showing Percy around Camp Half-Blood. Introducing his friends to him, and showing what they do.
"I wonder what your friends back in your school would think when they found out that your missing," Said Luke to Percy, making Percy frown.
"I don't have any friends, I only have Grover," replied Percy, making Luke frown. "You don't have other friends?" Asked Luke.
"Well, I did have one but...she went missing," Said Percy as he looked down at the ground. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that..." Said Luke, as he did not say anything after that, realizing his mistake for asking him that question.
"She was my first friend, the only one who understood me for who I was. But one day she just magically disappeared, leaving me alone with the bullies," Said Percy, walking side-by-side with Luke.
"She sounds like a good friend," Said Luke, trying to lighten the mood. "She was, and I hope she's ok," Replied Percy.
"Oh! it's time for Lunch come on! You don't wanna miss it," Said Luke dragging Percy to one of the tables.
Luke made Percy sit down on the seats, "I'm gonna get food, I'll be right back," Said Luke as he walked away.
Percy gave Luke a simple thumbs up, before sighing to himself. He does not want to be here.
He felt like he did not belong in camp-half blood, he felt like an outcast.
If you were here, he would not feel so nervous, not so alone. He missed you, and he did not know what happened to you.
Did you get kidnapped? Did you move to another country or state? Did you run away?
He never really knew your parents, every time he wanted to meet them you always denied him saying that they were "busy" or "at work."
He never saw your parents since you always walked home. Once he asked to walk you home and you denied saying "Oh it's not that far" or "I can do it by myself."
He did not know why you were acting suspicious, but after a few years, he got used to not seeing your parents, acting like their just a ghost.
"You must be the new kid!" Percy snapped his head to the side, getting startled by the sudden voice.
A girl sat beside him, placing her food on the table. "What's your name?" She asked before taking a spoonful of her food.
staring"Percy," He replied as he looked at the rather cheerful girl. The girl froze. "Percy? Your name is Percy?" She asked before staring at him seriously, making him want to run away.
"Is there a problem with the name Percy?" He asked, awkwardly chuckling.
"N-no it's just..." The girl became quiet, before turning back to her food. "It's nothing, sorry I just uh...Your name just reminded me of Perseus, the one who killed Medusa," She replied, before taking a bite of her food again.
"Well that was where my Mom got my name, so I guess that makes sense," Percy replied, before looking down at his hands.
"Oh, yeah I remember...," said the girl. "What do you mean by "you remembered?" Percy asked as he turned to the girl.
"Oh uh- Nothing sorry- uh I need to go," said the girl before taking her half-eaten food and running away.
"Well that was weird"
Percy whipped his head to the right only to see Luke holding two plates of Mac-n-cheese.
"To be honest she reminded me of someone," he replied as Luke placed the plate in front of him and sat down.
"You know Y/N never really acts like that, I don't know why she was acting weirdly today," Said Luke as he took a full spoon of his food.
Percy froze, it's all making sense now. "Her name is Y/N?" Asked Percy, as he waited for Luke to answer his question.
"Yeah? Do you know her?" Asked Luke, making Percy widen his eyes.
"How long has Y/N been here for?" Asked Percy, "What-"
"Answer the question Luke," Said Percy, tightening his grip on his spoon.
"Oh uh- I think for 4 years?" Said Luke, getting a little nervous by the sudden change in Percy's behavior.
Percy was silent, too silent.
That was the same amount of years that you went missing for, you were here the whole time.
"She got claimed 2 years ago by Demeter," Said Luke, trying to break the suffocating silence.
"Sorry I need to go-" Said Percy before standing up, leaving his food behind.
"Well that was weird'," Said Chris before sitting beside Luke. "Yeah," replied Luke.
"I think he knows her," said Chris, stuffing his mouth with his food. "But Percy said that he did not have any other friends except Grove-"
Luke became silent, thinking about what Percy had said about his missing friend.
"Oh," Said Luke, realizing the situation. "I think I know what happened," said Luke, making Chris look up at him.
"What?" Asked Chris, obviously confused.
Luke explained everything to Chris, making Chris widen his eyes.
"Damn," said Chris, covering his mouth in shock.
"Yeah," Agreed Luke, "I hope he finds her."
"Yeah same," Replied Chris.
....................................................................
"Y/N!"
Shouted Percy as he entered Cabin 4, making your half-siblings look at him like he was crazy.
"Hello to you too," Said one of the boys awkwardly as he walked towards Percy.
"Have you seen Y/N?" Asked Percy, looking around the Cabin. "Hey- Slow down-" Shouted one of your half-siblings.
"Where is she?!" Shouted Percy.
"Percy?"
Percy turned around only to face you, "What are you doing here?" You asked, obviously concerned.
"I need to speak with you," Said Percy, taking your hands into his. "I- uh ok?" You replied leading him outside.
You lead him somewhere private, somewhere far away from the rest of the kids.
You stopped walking as you turned to him, "What do you want to tell me so badly?" You asked, making him inhale deeply.
He exhaled, preparing himself. "I think you were my friend back in school," said Percy.
"So you found out?" You asked sadness in your eyes. "Why you didn't tell me?" Asked Percy grabbing your shoulders.
"I've been looking for you for years! And all this time you were here?" Said Percy.
"I did not know how to tell you, I'm sorry for hiding this from you," You admitted, looking down at the ground ashamed.
Percy widens his eyes, "No, no- It's fine, it's ok..." Said Percy. "Really?" You asked, hope in your eyes.
"Yeah, it's fine, as long as your safe then it's fine," Said Percy as he smiled, making you giggle.
"I missed you so much Y/N," Said Percy and pulled you in a tight hug. "I missed you too," You replied before hugging him back.
The hug lasted for 20 seconds. It felt good to be finally in each other's arms again.
You pulled away from the hug, "It's been a long time since we hugged," You said, giggling.
Percy chuckled, "Yeah, it has been a very long time," Said Percy as he smiled admirably at you.
"But do you know what else we've never done in a long time?" Asked Percy, slowly walking closer to you.
"What?" You asked, your eyes focusing on his. "Kiss," Whispered Percy, making you giggle.
"Percy we were 6 years old the last time we kissed! And the only reason we kissed is because we both thought that we were gonna be alone forever so that's why you bought 2 candy rings so that we can be "married" You replied, making him laugh.
"Ok, ok, How about a real kiss?" Asked Percy, moving closer. You giggled, "In your dreams Percy," You pushed his head away and walked away, giggling at his reaction.
"Okay fine, maybe we might not kiss now but we will kiss in the future," said Percy, making you laugh.
"Yah, yah, whatever," You said smiling as you took his hand into yours.
"I missed you Y/N"
"I missed you too Percy"
Hello. I saw that your wishes for Percy Jackson were clear. I wonder if you can write for yandere son percy jackson and mother reader?

Yandere Percy Jackson x Mom!reader (platonic obv)
-£ hope you don’t mind this being short! I have a lot of Fics to work on but I needed to make you something!
-£ warnings: Yandere behavior, being protective, and violent behavior.

Percy only likes your attention to be solely on him and no one else. Of for some reasons you are interacting with another kid he gets angry and starts to throw a fit to get you to pay attention. And you’d offend get calls from the school about Percy “pushing” or “biting” another child.
He’s a very needy child. Needing to be held by you, needs to play toys with you, even sometimes plays the hero to save you.
When you enrolled him in school you didn’t know how he would react. He would cause trouble to get sent home, do anything he could even finding a way to sneak out of the school. He was a trouble making.
It took some convincing to actually get him to stay in school
When he is slightly older he doesn’t acted out as much. He is hiding his actions away from you.
