the fact that TCW did absolutely nothing with the theoretical space politics will never not be funny to me, like imagine getting the chance to patch the holes in the original controversial star wars trilogy, you get to write dudes with lightsabers and flesh out one of the most famous fictional sci-fi settings, and you wrote "both sides aren't really that bad but actually the separatists are genuinely evil and the republic, headed by space satan, is not evil, thanks" in the most insensate way. just the dumbest possible take. not even written to be understood by kids, but actually just genuinely dumb as hell. kind of a power move honestly.

I will never forget the moment when Mirana hugged Slyrak's snout. As if she has tamed the Eldwyrm. This will forever live rent-free in my mind.

Also seems like Mirana is probably the incarnation of the Worldwyrm, so I do hope there may be more interactions later on.
