Sapnap is such a tragic character omg.

He’s lost his best friend to corruption, he’s basically already losing his other best friend to both a god and his sleep, he’d lost his father to an Egg (idk if they’ve even talked yet about it), his fiance is losing his memory, and his other fiance is going through his own trauma, and it’s just- AHHHHH

The fact that Sapnap, has, honestly changed throughout the SMP. He was there during the beginning. He was there for all the wars and battles, he was there for all of it. He was once hotheaded and was always antsy to murder a pet or go off in the world. But here? In Kinoko? He’s the mediator. He’s trying to put himself between Karl and Quackity, trying to mediate the situation, trying to desasculatte, because he doesn’t want to lose them either.

He lost Dream and George, he doesn’t want to lose Quackity and Karl either. Sapnap is just- SUCH a tragic character.

He’s grown from the person he had once during the first L’manburg Wars, he’s settled down, or was meant to, he was finally getting his life on track. Then his best friend gets jail time, his other best friend is basically missing with his sleep, and jesus, i’m just- Sapnap is one of my favourite characters just because of how tragic he is.

Headcannon that c!Sapnap has a stuffed Velociraptor and he sleeps with it cause his fiancés aren’t there for him to hold.

STOP TAKING C!SAPNAP’S THREAT TO C!DREAM OUT OF CONTEXT

He makes it clear that killing c!Dream would be because the prison failed to do its job, and that the last resort to protect the server would be his death. He doesn’t want to do it, but he’s a protector before anything else and believes that it would be the best way to keep everyone safe from being hurt by c!Dream again.

He does want c!Dream to be better. He wants them to be friends again. Killing him would be awful and c!Sapnap would struggle with that guilt for ages. He is allowed to miss his friend and still understand that sometimes one person’s death is the only path to everyone else’s safety.
