Went a bit experimental with this one to try to beat art block- dunno if it worked but it was fun anyways!

This is Spencer (he/him), hes a human scientist with a really bad habit of experimenting on himself rather than finding or coercing other people to experiment on.

Theres more to him but i digress. I will ramble about any character you place in front of me from balter for far too long.

Featuring:

Kurt- previously a type of astrophysicist (he lives in a world heavily warped by alien forces so.... its hard to be specific), he quit to become a baker after burnout hit him badly.

Wormy- a fallen, shattered shard of a whole angel. Theres more going on with them, but its a long and rather involved story to go into here

Enoki- a creature created by the god of the earth to help guide society. Used as a magic battery by some very wicked people. Dont ask me why theyre kinda ms-dos themed when they havent ever touched a computer. ( @labyrinth-walker's oc!! )

Kire- the spirit of human-made fire. Once again they have a long story surrounding them that i truly do love but it would take a lot of prior build-up to communicate....

Meet Ziffy!! She’s a little freak from the swamp outside of the city. He grew up in a very safe and loving but very secluded community, and is taking their radicalized punk ideals out into the big city. Ae want Balter to be a little bit more loving, a little bit more communal, and so they’re gonna make that happen! (I fucking love this little punk bug)

The gods of old

Terra (she/they)- god of the earth, plants, new growth, and new life. Sturdy and headstrong, a helper, grower, and healer.

Zephyr (they/he)- the west wind, connected to water, bringer of joy and warm summer days. Footloose and fancy free, gentle, happy… full of laughter and smiles.

Xareth (he/him)- god of the ocean, controller of the tides, lover of the strange and unusual, indifferent father of the depths. Tries to come off as cool, cares for few, but those few mean everything to him. Tired, and pig headed.

Altair (he/it/they)- god of the stars, consciousness in outerspace, detached from the earth. Cold, distant, aloof, spaced out… cares more than you would think. Has a gentle touch despite harsh words.

An idea I've had in my head for a long while but have never gotten out till now. Inspired by the title of an itch.io game by Sophie Artemigi (as well as a load of abstract comics). I can't wait to play the game now that I've finally gotten this idea out of my head!
