I Got My Ears Pierced Today!

I got my ears pierced today!

They’re actually my seconds, and I only got them done because my older brother really wanted his ears pierced today, but didn’t want to do it alone. So my parents let me get mine done. I’m really happy!

I’m literally so glad that my theater program is doing Anastasia, because it doesn’t matter what I get, I’ll be able to wear my character shoes!!

I love my character shoes, I feel so much more confident when I preform in them. It makes no sense why I feel more comfortable with wearing heels but I do. My theater program hasn’t been doing shows that need character shoes for the past five shows, so I’m very excited that in Anastasia I can wear them!!

There’s a power outage and it was originally supposed to be over an hour ago, but now it won’t be fixed until 1:30!!!

Both my phone and computer is about to die, my computer won’t even work rn. I need to get to bed so it shouldn’t be a big deal but I sleep with a sound machine and it’s an on my phone! It takes me forever to fall asleep without one!!

I also can’t sleep without a little bit of light and I can’t keep my candles burning all night so there’s that too.

In my art class last year, my teacher had us come up with our own set of cards (just the special ones like the ace card). We could do whatever we wanted just all had to be the same theme and we needed to have the suits. I picked the jungle as my theme and I think something possessed me when I made these.

The monkey is my personal enemy, I hate it with my entire soul, I just couldn’t figure out how to draw it for the life of me. Funny enough I drew the monkey before the jaguar because I thought it would be easy. I was wrong, the jaguar was the easiest and easily the best one, while the monkey was the hardest and the worst one. 

Also just because I’m petty, when we first showed our first card to the class for critiquing, someone told me the lizards were too green, so I made everything greener.

Soo, my family, except my sister, is homophobic so obviously I’m not out to them. Well in most of my socials my pronouns are she/they. I’ve been questioning for a while whether I really want to go by those or not, I just haven’t changed anything on my socials. My brother was talking to me about how many views he has on his TikTok, so I mentioned mine. He wanted to see it, I tried to show him the data, but he just took my phone and looked at the whole page itself. Of course he saw the she/they and goes, “Are you a she/they now?” It doesn’t help the pfp also has a bi flag in it. I tried playing it off but I could tell he didn’t believe me. I’m genuinely scared he’s going to tell my parents and I’m afraid of what they’re going to say. I’ve known that I was bi for years but my parents don’t believe that bisexuality exists and they don’t believe in they/them pronouns, I don’t know what to do. I really hope he lets it go and doesn’t tell them. I’m actually really scared rn, thankfully it’s 1:30 am, so they’re asleep, but I sleep in really late and I don’t want to wake up to them asking me about it.

Help, what should I do?
