I couldn't pass up the oppoturnity to redesign this goober into a more cohesive character, getting rid of some elements but switching them out for other design tropes I enjoy :3 I'm proud of how this attempt turned out

I am not asking to be understood, I am asking to be listened...

Anyways, here's a somewhat redraw I hope I finish someday. I've been a bit busy (finals are close) so yeah, sorry for the inactivity.

Damn.... what a hard work.

I really wish it was easier to find such groups of people, maybe I'm just not looking where I should be, but I've felt pretty much on my own with both art and writing for a while. I know sometimes it has to be like that, but it'd be nice if it weren't all the time.

Seeing as you’re an experienced author I think it’s safe to assume you’ve tried and tested both methods and could probably give me a fair answer. Should I:

a) continue pestering my friends to read what I wrote because I’m insecure about my art and then be disappointed by their brutal honesty

Or

b) stop doing that and just write for myself because I don’t like criticism

What about c) find a group of probably mostly online people who like the kinds of things that you write and understand how to encourage a young writer without the kind of brutal honesty that will make you hide under a table I never write again?
