So, how would I answer without spoiling a huge piece of the plot…

Delia was looking for a man who is strong in body and spirit so that the child will be healthy. And Henry's father wanted to make sure that his amazing genetics would definitely remain in this world and continue to exist in the future. However, none of these two were interested in building a relationship with each other, so they signed an agreement that they would meet for one night and never cross paths after that. And so it turned out. Delia gave her newborn son her last name and never thought about that man again. I guess she doesn't even remember his name.
