With winter coming, I wanted to expand some world-building. Orcs of the Orutaan Expanse have a symbiotic relationship with the native elks, having formed a deep spiritual bond with them in the distant past after their emergence onto the surface in the far north. They are often referred to as the "elk lords" by non-orcs. The orcs often paint their bodies with the ashes of their ancestors.
