His driver was clearly in no hurry to start his lecture. He dropped lightly from James’s cab before casting around for something he could use as a seat. James watched him mournfully. It was obviously going to be long talk if he needed to sit down for its duration. Eventually the driver dragged over a wooden pallet, propped it on its side and perched precariously on the top. “This needs to be dealt with.” The driver sighed, fiddling distractedly with his cuff. “I suppose it’s my fault, really. I’ve indulged you, haven’t I, James? How many times have I given up my evening to set up pranks to trick the other engines? I‘ve taken you to the washdown more often than necessary and the Steamworks nowhere near as often as I should. I knew there was a problem with your brakes before you crashed into the sheds and instead of addressing it, I let you carry on racing against Rosie. I don’t know how I kept my job. The last few days have been a bit of a wake-up call and I’ve made a decision,” he went on, carefully negotiating a descent from the pallet and looking up at his engine. “I’m going to speak to the Fat Controller and ask to be transferred to another engine.” “No!” Horrified, James stared at him. He hadn’t foreseen this.

after reading futurerust's impossible things for the uh... i think sixth time? maybe seventh?? this scene was absolutely glued in my brain and needed to come out. the whole fic is incredible and i highly recommend anyone who hasn't read it already go and give it a shot, it is one of the best things i have ever read in my life and there is nothing else that understands james so well.

this was really fun and challenging for me, as i'm not much of a background person or a shading person, so i decided to put some proper effort in and am really, really pleased with how it all turned out!!!!!! please go read impossible things!!!!

A Ticklish Surprise!

Oml this is not only my first ever fic, but I have to start it on the fandom that I'm currently hyperfixating- ekejesk

I'm actually basing it of the artwork that I have right here!

Fandom: Bob the Builder

Characters: Lee!Bob, Ler!Wendy

Summary: The team are currently building a new trap for the Mayor's Town Hall, and things start to get...well..tickly..

Warnings: None! This is just an adorable fic! (Maybe lol)

Anyways, enough of me rambling. Let's get started!

"Alright now, Mayor Maddison want's all of you to build a brand new trap for the town hall. Apperantly the alarms don't really work for the burglars to get away."  Mr. Bently said

"Don't worry Mr. Bently, we can build this as fast as we can!"  Bob said confidently.

"We just need to figure out which trap are we going to set up before adding it to the building."  Wendy said.

"Take your time everyone, the Mayor will wait patiently for the new trap to be installed." Mr. Bently said before leaving the Town Hall.

"Well, what do you think guys? Which trap should we set up?"  The builder asked his machine friends.

"Maybe a cage!"  "Or maybe a trap door!"  "Or maybe a bomb!" 

"No! Not bombs, Muck! Those things are dangerous and loud!"  Lofty resisted.

"Oh sorry.."  Muck apologized.

"Actually all of those things that you guys said are not bad except for the bomb one."  Wendy said as she paused for a moment trying to figure out which trap to set up.

"Wait! I think I have an idea!"  She shouted, and added "Bob, can you come in the Town Hall for a minute please?" 

"Um, okay. Why though?"  "You'll see, just come out when I tell you too."  Wendy said as the Bristish builder entered the Town Hall.

"Okay, we need to be very quiet because he can hear us through the door. So I thought of building a tickle trap!"  Wendy protested.

"Err.. A tickle trap?"  Scoop asked

"That's right Scoop, we are going to build a tickle trap for the burglars. And then, we can test it on Bob!"  Wendy said exctiedly

"Ooh! That's so cool! I've never seen Bob getting tickled before!"  Lofty said excitedly.

"Me too!"  "Me three!"  Scoop and Muck said.

"Alright team, Can we build it?" Wendy said as he took Bob's line.

"Yes we can!"  The machine trio answered

---------(FEW MINUTES LATER)-----------

"We just finished the brand new trap."  Wendy said

"Great! Now, why'd you let me go inside and outside the Town Hall when planning and building the trap?"  Bob asked

"It's a surprise that me and the machines made, you will see our trap that is perfect for the Town Hall!"  Wendy cheered

"Umm, okay..?"  "Now, I need you to stand over there, please."  She said as she pointed to the left side of the Town Hall.

"Okay, why am I standing here?"  The Builder wondered looking confused

"You'll see." 

(HERE COMES THE FUN PART MWAHAHA-!)

As Wendy pushed a button on her remote, two metal claws grabbed both of Bob's wrists and putting them up away from his sides.

"W-Wendy! What's going on?!" He stuttered.

"It's a tickle trap!"  She said as she pushed another button releasing two few feather brushes and started attacking the Builders underarms.

"AH! W-WEHEHENDY!" 

"Surprise! This is the brand new trap for the Town Hall!"

"IHIT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE TOWN HAHAHAHALL!"  He chuckled

"Of course it is! I'm pretty sure Mr. Bently wouldn't mind it, right?"  Wendy said

"MAHAHAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STAHAHAP!!" The Builder snorted.

"Aww! Already snorting I see!"  Wendy teased making Bob blush slightly.

"BEHEHE QUIEHEHET!!"  He squealed and squeaked.

------(MEANWHILE WITH THE MACHINES)-------

Scoop, Muck, and Lofty are looking at the window, they noticed their builder friend getting tickled by a machine.

"Is he getting tickled by a machine? I didn't know that people can laugh by that, I thought only the hands way is making you laugh."  Muck said

"Well forget about that, Muck. His laughter sounds adorable!"  Scoop said.

"Yeah! And his snorting and squeaking too! I didn't know people can make different types of sounds when they are getting tickled!"  Lofty said

"Same!"  Both Scoop and Muck said cheerfully

-----------(BACK TO THE MAIN THING)---------

"STOP IT WENDY! I CAHAHAN'T BREHEATHE!" 

"Hmm, seems to be working perfectly, Thanks, Bob!"  Wendy stopped letting go of her friend as the Builder crouch down holding his stomach.

"*huff, puff* T-Thanks for using me as your test subject... I see.." He teased

"Oh! It's just a simple test to make sure the trap actually works."

"Although, I don't think Mr. Bently is going to like the trap if he saw it.."  The Builder said looking worried.

"Relax, Bob. It's going to be okay, I mean even a burglar can be ticklish right?"  She chuckled

"Y-Yeah, totally.."
