Oops! He's Magician Now

oops! he's magician now
While the real reason I drew this is just that I thought it would look cool, I do also think it would be fun for him to take up magic tricks, not just as a fun sneaky little skill but also as a great roundabout way of spiting Hojo. All that stuff about science and what is and isn't magic, hah, guess what

Rathalaugust Day 28: Zinogre
thinking about the attack where it somersaults into perfect puppy-demands-bellyrubs position and holds it for like 3 seconds

Next exciting shot at clay modelling includes: Fatalis! Alternative name: it is a long dragon
Wings are a tough nut to crack, what with gravity and all - I heard from someone that people generally use wire? Which I ought to look into. If you're wondering, it does also have some fairly normal-looking legs under there:

This is the standard winged nightjar and it has one singular stupidly big feather on each wing... if you even care.
Very happy that Tumblr seems to like them as much as I do <3
For an extra bonus, here's a reference for adult Pokara. The little grey ones to the left are females - the extra big one is male and it's called Pokaradon:

Pokaradon are large monsters that can, among other things, effectively set it's own pitfall traps. The whole family lives in the Polar Sea, a Frontier location which has a VERY COOL FIGHT THEME that you should listen to if you like your MonHun music!!
Hello! Have you met juvenile Pokara from Monster Hunter Frontier?

Now you have :]
Although adult Pokara are territorial, young Pokara are friendly and sociable! They often follow and mimic the gestures of hunters, and might even try and talk to them.
Every time I remember these little guys they brighten my day tbh
