Kore is a separate deity from Persephone! Being a goddess of spring growth and bees (I completely made this up)

She created when a huge flower bud popped out of the ground, and BOOM from that flower bud came Kore :]

Zeus is so interesting to look at from a modern perspective, because looking at his mythology, he is objectively a way better father than Kronos and Ouranos ever were, but he is still very dismissive of his demigod children, and can be cruel like the case of Ares and Hephaestus. He has a male lover and accepts his gender non-conforming sons, and dotes on his daughters (Athena and Artemis are his favorite children), but he treats his wife like garbage and frequently victimizes other women. He has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to flex his power, but he is scared shitless of saying rather he thinks his wife, daughter, or aunt is the most beautiful.
