The way certain ASOIAF fans claim to unironically not care about the smallfolk is very weird to me. Mind you there isn’t necessarily a problem with not resonating with characters that aren’t inherently given POVS besides like Davos (mind you all of our favs interact with the smallfolk to some degree or another )….but anyways to imply they’re unimportant and what happens to them doesn’t matter seems like such a deeply incorrect reading and understanding of the ASOIAF series? Also I get people wanting to make jokey jokes on how the smallfolk are uneducated and smelly and thus what happens to them doesn’t matter but like … please tell me you understand that beyond jokey jokes you 🫵 are in fact the smallfolk 😭 you are not a purple eyed silver haired princess and never will be. The real life Lannisters & Targaryens are like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk and they definitely think you’re 🫵 uneducated and smelly and use that as an excuse to deprive you 🫵 from basic shit like liveable wages

Current obsession: clonesclonesclonesclones forever. I haven't had a special interest/hyperfixation this deep since I was like 12-14 so like this is one of the most important things in my life tbh. Specifically like thinking about how their culture would work, and their solidarity, internal conflicts, shared trauma and how that would relate to those things. Their ideas about personal and cultural identity and how that would vary individually. Things like how their upbringing must have felt, how that affected them and who they became later in life, the things they're taught vs what they truly come to believe once they're out on the field, the psychological effects of O66 on the clones who survived and the devastating impact it must have had- Bro stop me or I'll keep going forever like. I'm in deep and tbh? I wouldn't change it for the world.
