so rude that fantasizing about writing alone is not enough to actually get the fic done. you have to actually sit down and write it. insane.

These two are amazing!
@x-heesy 💃🏻🕺🏻 Friday vibes!

My therapist just told me my problem is that I need to write more fanfiction.
TBGO did not write Creek well. For a character who didn't even end up getting much screen time in the one movie he was in, it's telling that a lot of us still want him to come back, if only to get his comeuppance.
If it were up to me, Creek wouldn't be reintegrated into Pop Village. No, if he showed back up one day, it would be to a people altogether less naive after not one but TWO life-altering disasters had struck them.
Poppy would be torn. As Queen, she would know that Creek isn't trustworthy. And if another disaster were to strike, she would have no way of knowing whether he would choose himself over her people again. Yet she also wouldn't want to kick him to the curb, because being Queen means being responsible for the lives of her citizens. Even her ex-citizens who once had the gall to pretend that giving up their civilization to save their own skins was somehow a righteous thing to do.
Branch would not be so hesitant. In his opinion, Creek burned the bridge connecting him to their community into nothing when he chose to sell them out. He didn't deserve a place among them, period.
But Poppy is the Queen, and Branch is mollified by her turning to him in her indecision, seeking out his opinion specifically, listening to him. It's a point in favor for their relationship, as an unspoken acknowledgement sees the two of them learning to compromise the situation for the betterment of their village as equals. Not just as a Queen and her friend or boyfriend.
In the end, I'd like them to decide that Creek doesn't deserve to struggle in the wild on his own for the rest of his natural days. Banishment is not the solution, and it's not the Troll way. But that doesn't mean he's earned a place among them, and Branch would happily announce this to a crowd of onlookers. Instead, Queen Poppy has decided to turn to their allies for assistance.
Creek is sentenced to go and live amongst the other genre tribes, until one of them finds a place for him.
Creek winds up in Lonesome Flats.
Working hard every day, and being lassoed down by Growly Pete on Delta's orders whenever he tries to get away with lazing about, or if he tries to escape. Creek would never find his place in Pop Village, where the softhearted citizens wouldn't even notice him slipping into the self-righteous and manipulative ways of his past if he so chose.
But under the watchful eyes of the no-nonsense Country trolls, there's no room for selfishness or even cowardice. Creek might just find his life changed milking the beasts and farming the days away under the sun.

first night alone
i have the usual brainrot so here's a bunch of drawings of the brozone bros standing in the void
something something their paint brush hair is just a stage look, they are actually their parents' children

Like a completely normal adult person, after watching the new trolls movie, I obsessively started putting together the brothers' backstory, the deeper reasons for their separation as well as how that all took place without disregarding the fact that they were trapped in the troll tree, which of course evolved into a fic in (forever) progress... yeah
Anyway, even though they aren't actively in the story much, i needed to design the parents, so uh meet Rosiepuff's daughter, Tulip, and her husband Branch.
I designed them based on the brothers' adult looks and in Tulip's case also on her mom's.
bonus baby branch:

Bros, bros, bros!
