Alright I Havent Posted Here In Forever But Lately Ive Been Playing A New Game In The Wonderful Brindleton

Alright I haven’t posted here in forever but lately I’ve been playing a new game in the wonderful Brindleton save that @pixelplayground made and I have gotten really attached to the 3 families I made there lol This lot is a modified version of @simmerberlin‘s awesome Poppy Park, which was perfect for a romantic fall wedding. Poses are by @clumsyalienn, @tatibunnymoon and @briengirl Womens clothes by @coloresurbanos and @plumbobteasociety and I cannot remember who made the mens suits, comment below if you know haha >_>

Long ass character backstory under the cut.

We’ll start with Addison Branham, the bride. She lost her parents at the age of 12 in a terrible drunk driving accident, and her 22 year old sister, Juniper, stepped in and became her guardian. It was a hard road for both of them, finding equilibrium with their lives turned on their heads. 

Just as the sisters started to find their footing, she met Alexander Brindleton in high school. She immediately hated him, and her life was never the same. After much antagonism between the two of them, she started to realize maybe she didn’t completely loathe him, and eventually they started dating.  They dated all through high school, and went to college unsure whether their relationship could stand the strain of long distance. 4 years and a proposal later, they’re going as strong as ever. 

Juniper had always been a little leery of their relationship, since the Brindleton family has been there since the founding of the town. Alexander’s father was also rumored to be from a prominent italian mob family, and while he may have saved the Brindleton family fortune, at what cost?

Alexander Brindleton grew up surrounded by history and wealth. He never quite fit in with his cold, calculating mother or his loving but overbearing father. Mostly he wanted to stay in, play video games and write fantasy short stories. He couldn’t have cared less about his mother’s political ambitions or his father’s penchant of disappearing for days. He drifted through school until the day he met Addison and instantly fell in love. After a courtship that mostly consisted of him trying to say the right thing and instantly sticking his foot in his mouth, he left Addison alone. This allowed her to form her own opinion of him and get to know him without the pressure of his admiration (and awkward sarcasm). His mother, Adeline, had always been distantly disapproving of Addison. She felt that the Branham’s didn’t have enough money or social clout to marry into her family. This seemed to ignore her own scandalous marriage to Marco, who came from a very rich italian family. This was beneficial because at the time because her father had sunk most of their fortune into bad investments. However, his lineage was not pristine, and his families money didn’t appear to be entirely on the up and up. This didn’t fit her parents expectation that she marry a rich Connecticut WASP whose family arrived on the Mayflower. Over the years Adeline warmed slightly to Addison and she was grudgingly welcomed into the family. Marco had always been strange towards Addison, almost falling over himself to make her feel welcome and defending her from Adeline. Her parents killer was never found, and Marco did have a well known but never talked about drinking problem...Alexander went to college to become a writer and shunned is mothers plans for him to enter politics. His parents accepted with ill grace. It was made clear to Alexander that the families hopes now rested on his little sister, Adrina. He wasn’t expected to amount to much.  Through much strife and arguing, both families came together for a small but lavish wedding to celebrate 7 years of love. Hopefully, the sins of the past won’t come back to shadow the future.

Hypocrisy in the Sims Community

I know basically only porn accounts follow me, but I have to write my frustration out somewhere. As any simblr knows, stealing and crediting creators is a hot button issue in the community. There’s long detailed posts about why stealing is bad, how it hurts creators, blah blah blah. But then there’s this huge glaring issue none of them seem too bothered about. Many creators steal artists work and don’t bother crediting them, and put it behind pay walls, which is illegal. I see so many artists work from society6 on here with no credit, or credit given to “society6″.

 Society6 is just a marketplace for individual artists to sell their work. The artist holds the copyright, not society6 or any other type of website. And if you’re putting their work behind adfly, or on patreon, that is illegal. It just blows my mind how many in the sims community can feel such righteous indignation when their work ends up somewhere else, and feel so blase using artists work in recolors, meshes, and edits. I guess my point to everyone is, before you throw stones, make sure you don’t live in a glass house.

hi!!!!! last week i saw some dispute abt muslim clothing/cc etc….. and as a muslim myself i feel like i could be eligible (??) to show u how some of us dress :-D yes, some muslims dress conservatively, but sometimes its a common misconception that we “cant” look stylish along the way! 

instead of plain long sleeve turtlenecks paired with dark blue jeans, ive compiled a few looks that i think would be helpful to any of you who has/wants to make muslim simmies!!!  and tbh all of these outfits are based of off my sisters closet lmao

I’m just obsessed with making gorgeous ladies and having them be lovers lately. I’ve become bored with actual game play and have mostly just been making sims. If there’s any interest in downloading these ladies I could upload them with a cc list.
