Plot:
Arthur Wilkins (Dandy and Pebble’s toon handler?) had been revived with ichor as an attempt to bring human life back to Gardenview which Dandy was experimenting with. As you’ll see when it’s done, something went wrong and long story short, Arthur began hurting and betraying the toons.
Shrimpo tried standing up for them, but she became attacked by Arthur and at the beginning of the animatic is unconscious.
The toons join together, with singing to stop Arthur once and for all, then Dandy and Astro defeat the corrupted reborn human.

I actually theorise the toons have normal blood like some of them do, though idk why they explode into ichor in the canon game.
Here’s something which I have no idea if it proves my theory:
The twisteds are twisted versions of the toons and they have ichor on them. If it’s their blood then why the heck are they wearing it? It looks like an unnamed chemical in my opinion because when you go to certain places on certain maps, you see ichor leaking out some doors
(I’m terrible at explanations lmao-)
If toon Bittergiggle were to get twisted, I’ve always pictured that it would start from the snake arm due to the injury being there and spread outwards. The early symptoms would be the x eyes of the snake and ichor leaking from the snakes mouth
