This past weekend, 25 years after Toei Animation released the first episode, fans celebrated One Piece Day in Chiba, Japan, and worldwide via live stream. felt inspired to draw this after taking a nap woth my body pillow(that NO doesmt have a character on it why dows everyone assume so smh sighs so loudly, puffs cog against the light post and looks off into the starry night mysteriously)

Y'know, back when I first watched the show at 12 years old, I really hated Luther. But now as an adult rewatching the series for the first time in years, I can't see why I ever felt such a strong way about him! He's just a silly monke guy who likes to play by the rules! Not to mention plenty complex and layered as a character!

Overall, I was too harsh on this guy. He's a silly, silly man :)

He's mostly colored white with the exception of his red coat. Behind him, Sloth and Wrath are drawn with white ink against the black background, the only colors being Sloth's purple eye and the homunculi's Ouroboros marks. Sloth is on the left, also staring at the viewer with an indifferent expression, even if only her eye and eyebrow are seen. Wrath is on the right and he's turned around entirely, only his back seen. That exposes his Ouroboros, located on the back of his neck. His right arm, which has transformed into a blade, also shows a red scar; that's Ed's lost arm. I do not guarantee an official final product out of this AU, but I would love to write a complete story one day. Maybe I'll just post the concepts on their own for now, though.
