I’m, uh...... That “MIKU I LOVE YOU” guy from Miku’s North American Tour, in case you didn’t know...

... by the way, those comments are totally exaggerating... I’m a huge fan and all, but I’m not stupid...

Store list

Also websites and stores I am using to get my merch from, I tried to list most of them but I bet I missed some. orz

The stores below accepts orders from all around the world, except Japanese Rakuten and Amazon. (I recall the Japanese Amazon accepting orders on everything that is not electronics, so I guess books are okay). Try searching with both Japanese title [レイトン教授], Japanese name [レイトン] and the English ones for best possible results.

Auction sites however needs a proxy and my favorite ones are listed below.

Stores:

AmiAmi - For new goods, pre-orders and such. Also stalking their “pre-owned” section from time to time.

Hobby Search - Same as above, except no pre-owned section

CDJapan - Used to have a bigger selection, but oh well. Mainly carries books and DVD’s.

YesAsia - A bit pricier than CDJapan but have a bigger selection and a few old items. Keychains, plushies and books can be found here.

Amazon - Mainly uses the UK one, but started to use the JP one since I moved here. Have a little bit of everything.

Rakuten - Both Japanese and global. Mainly have books, CD’s and games.

Mandarake - Second hand goodies, they rarely list their Layton items in their web store though.

Myfigurecollection and Figure.fm  - Not really stores, but communities. People who loves figures, anime, manga and games gather around there and from time to time people sell of their stuff. Rarely find Layton stuff there but I thought it would be worth mentioning. Myfigurecollection also has a very nice database that makes it easy to create wishlists. ♥

Auction sites:

Yahoo auctions (y!A) - Biggest auction site in Japan. Most items go here and it updates pretty much every day.

Mbook - A bit smaller and less popular, but on the other hand that means that there are fewer who bid!

ebay - Not as much but it happens from time to time. Sometimes have some nice items up for sale. I search around pretty much all the European ebay’s since not all the items pop up on the .com one.

Shopping services:

FromJapan - Cheap fee, easy and very handy when bidding. A bit high shipping cost from my experience though. Can buy a little bit of everything, but do not accept orders on 18+ goods. When it comes to auctions they pretty much only let you bid via y!A.

Japonica Market - Good communication, a bit slower on bidding than FromJapan. They accept pretty much any order and are very flexible when it comes to shipping and storage of your items. Can bid on items on both y!A and Mbook.

I also search around stores around in Osaka and Tokyo whenever I get the chance. If you’re ever in Osaka I recommend their K-books and Mandarake in Umeda.

For Tokyo I especially recommend Nakano Broadway and to check all the billions of gacha stores. In general I recommend to walk into smaller shops, the shadier the better apparently, haha. If you don’t find what you’re searching for, don’t be scared to ask! The staff is often very friendly and has good knowledge about what items they have in stock.

Happy hunting~ ´ ▽ ` )ノ
