I love you, nonhumans, that write paragraphs about their experiences on Tumblr. You are making history for our community. Thank you. Our community will never die out if you stay alive and just talk about your experiences, coined terms, or opinions.

No matter where you stand as a nonhuman, or even alterbeing, you are making history every time you post. Never forget that.

I love seeing posts from "rare" weres, therians with uncommon theriotypes, therians with experiences nobody else seems to relate to, endels and clinical zoanthropes with unique and diverse experiences as nonhumans, and somewhat personal blogs describing shifts, phantom, mental, or physical.

I just appreciate how humbling this community can be. I've seen the strange, the incredible, the bittersweet, the scary, etc. but it's all worth it in the end to know that I, we, are a part of a history most humans cannot fathom, and that's a gift.

Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

Just for the record,

This isn’t me dogging on anyone for their interests or singling out people for the sake of being rude. It’s just me being unsure of how to feel about the situation.

It all just feels a little wrong, to see an entire fandom dedicated to a movie that was (albeit loosely) about the Columbine shooting.

Some (two, that I’ve noticed) Zero Day fans follow me and I’m not quite sure how to feel about it

On one paw, yes it is fiction and who am I to judge you for the types of media that you are interested in?

But on the other, it’s loosely based on a horrible thing that actually happened and destroyed several people’s lives

I’m conflicted
