38. are there any popular tropes/themes you'd never write?
i don’t think i’d write anything having to do with soulmates, and if i have, i don’t remember :/ no but i do think the soulmate aus are fun… they’re just not my favorite to write. i like to write people who aren’t perfect for each other, that have a chance of falling apart if they don’t try that and pregnancy/cheating stuff! i could write a character getting cheated on and breaking up with them, but it’s like a huge thing for me personally so i just don’t enjoy it
43. what keeps you motivated when working on a long project?
definitely comments/talking to people who enjoy the fic. if i get uninterested, striking up a conversation with me absolutely helps 🙂↕️ plus keeping my mind on it and making sure i don’t push it off my schedule

6. how do you come up with ideas?
it really comes to me in a bunch of different ways! like if i’m watching a movie or show, or see something specific my mind will just spiral with ideas. for example, i see an orange or like a wooden box of oranges. i’ll think of the stall they sell them at, how a character or the reader may work there. then there’d be a new coworker where they’re forced together to advertise the oranges to save the reader’s job. working together, they learn that maybe they could be together, ‘work’ together. (actually ngl i like this no one take this lmao) obviously the details would be worked out through the series, but that’s pretty much how i make up ideas :D
14. what’s the average word count of all of your published fics?
usually 1k for oneshots! i’ll occasionally write something shorter or something longer, but evening out it would be 1k words for multi-chapters it’d be like 10k since each chapter is around 1k words and there’s usually around 10 chapters!
42. how do you get over writer's block?
force myself to write 😔 i usually end up writing a drabble just get my writing fingers going! headcanons are also good because they get the ideas flowing for specific characters

recently (today) @/nekozaki started reading ‘follow me like the moon’ and it changed my life
literally any comment @/jadeoru makes on ‘talk it out’. this fic was practically made for her but this specifically killed me
@/nectardaddy talking about either of my kita oneshots kills me but i think of it constantly
i love anything @/eggyrocks says BUT my iwaizumi fic absolutely had eggy in mind so seeing the moodboard AND this was great
LASTLY, anything from @/causenessus <33 she is amazing and sweet and anything she’s ever said will be forever stuck in the back of my mind

i’ve been on tumblr since like 2018 i think?? but i’ve been actually posting on here since 2022!! i do have a wattpad that i post all of this stuff at too but i’ve been on it off and on since 2016 😭

yes!! i have a few friends that know i write fanfic. only one knows i have tumblr though :D and that’s because she has/had it too!

also, I wanted to share that after finishing reading everything, I just now realized the fact that eclipse comes to y/n at night, and that's their habit vs. kuroo couldn't even spend the night there too. I promise I'll stop talking about this series, but also. I can't stop thinking. man has places to be. man can also not let go of the fact that he has to leave before the night ends. this is pain. I love this.

friends to lovers, slow burn. omg writing slow burn that is also friends to lovers is so much fun for me. it’s interesting to explore relationships between people who just can’t figure out that the things they feel for each other is absolutely not platonic lmao

usually fear, nothing like super insane, but more so the fear of the unknown. since i typically write stories with confessions/over-thinking characters, there’s usually this fear of not knowing that i think is really real and something most people write about without thinking

3. tell me about one of your fics you think is underrated/underappreciated.
since we follow each other from tmr, i would probably say the two chapters i wrote for minewt week last year! it was a fun write for me and i want to write for tmr again just haven’t had the motivation 😔
but since most people follow me for haikyuu… my favorite mug for kageyama was a sweet little one i wrote that i don’t think most people read!
4. longest period of time it's taken you to write one fic?
probably a fic i’ve deleted (might put all of it into a single post) which is ‘a seaward spark’! i ended up making it ten chapters and the ten chapters too me like half a year to finish? it was also my first multichapter fic so i wasn’t super happy with it :/

so if it were me and kiyoko, i think it’d be a coming of age, two season long tv show. first season it would absolutely be meeting, overcoming feelings, and the first kiss in the last episode. second season would def be exploring a relationship and what that would look like for us!!
tropes would be not exactly a meet cute but like a meet and then forget to ask for a number type of thing. very much like will they won’t they trope because let’s be honest figuring out a wlw relationship is HARD 🗣️ but we met in a grocery store after hitting into each other but officially met at a get together with mutual friends. so trying to figure out whether we were just becoming friends or something more is definitely a challenge
who plays me? now that’s hard one lmao. but if i had to choose, probably sophia lillis. i’ve never had an actor that like resembles me but i would be honored if she did 🙂↕️
we take a few months before officially naming it. probably went on a few unofficial dates that neither of us could really name. but when we did start dating it was very much a ‘dating’ phase before the ‘relationship’ phase. plus she’s a little old fashioned in the way she wants to go to the movies together, have a picnic, etc.
