And

I'm pretty sure this dream made me like Wolfwood more just so later on the world could completely crush me with what happened to him

Thanks to my wonderful imagination, now I want to cry more than I was supposed to have (even if I knew before what would happen to him)

Once in a while I have a dream that's not a nightmare or doesn't make any sense

And today I had a very nice dream (even if I felt so weird when I woke up)

It was to good to not share it

The feeling of drifting and cloudy vision was enough proof to make you realize you're dreaming. But the softness of grass you were laying on gave you hope it was not just an image created by your brain, an illusion you wished to see. You opened your eyes (or were they open from the start?) and saw vibrant blue mixing with oranges, yellows and pinks, sun rays shining between soft clouds lazely stalking through the sky.

Is your mind really capable of creating something this beautiful?

Your pondering was stopped by the feeling of weight on your palm, weird warm sensation traveling from it. Your gaze shifted from the sky to your side as light breeze tickle your skin.

He was there.

Laying beside you, his hand holding yours, looking peaceful and relaxed, like there was nothing to worry about in this world.

And maybe there wasn't, here on the green hill, with setting or rising sun, you were not able to tell, where the only sound was caused by wind and the quiet breathing.

You took in all his features, examining him like a priceless painting, your eyes trailing on his tanned skin, admiring the shape of his nose, the dark hair falling on his closed eyes and how his lips twisted into content smile. You were surprised by the lack of cigarette in his mouth, a long blade of grass was put in it's place.

Yeah, you were definitely dreaming.

Raspy laugh snapped your out of this trans, making you notice that the man beside you now had his head turned to look at you.

Ah, he had really nice dark eyes.

"Like what you see?" he asked playfully.

Your only answer was a nod, too scared to speak up, like your voice could disturb this fantasy and everything would just disappear, making you come back to reality.

Apparently, he wasn't expecting you to seamlessly admit to your views on him, startling him enough to look away in embarrassment. Grip on your hand tightened.

Sighing, you lifted yourself into a sitting position and leaned on your non-occupied hand. The man send you a questioning gaze once your eyes met again. Motioning with your chin to your lap you send him a small smile, hoping he'll understand your silent suggestion. He looked away again but seconds later he dropped your hand, warm leaving you for a moment and coming back again when you felt his head on your thighs.

You lifted your hand lightly grazing your fingers through his cheek, feeling the heat radiating from it. You hesitated, fearing of losing this feeling in a second, but a pleased sigh coming from him erased those thoughts, even if only for a moment.

You continued caressing his skin, second hand coming to glide your fingers through his dark locks.

With a soft smile on your face you could feel your eyelids closing, the drifting feeling came back making you painfully aware of yours time here ending. As if he could sense it too, he took your hand that was previously resting in his cheek and placed it in his lips and closed his eyes. Opening them again, he smiled at you and spoke up in a soft voice.

"I'll wait."

Would he really? Was it even possible at that point to just wait here? Will you even be able to come back?

You hoped so. You hoped it wasn't a dream at all. You wished it was reality.

And maybe someday, somehow it could be.

Also you can tell how single I am

Yeah so

What about some kind of like an au where they all just live on Earth and trigun isn't a thing there

But reader is the one who lives in trigun and suddenly (maybe at the end of 12ep of tristamp) gets teleported to the 'normal world'

Just like those ffs but instead of Vash it's you

But the thing is, they all were in your world and now they're in this one but everything is so different

So you're just confused after appearing somewhere in the backyard of Rem's house bc omg she's alive what the hell and also while laying on the grass the only thing you can think about is 'where tf am i?? What happened? Wasn't I with Vash fighting Knives or something????'

And your brain just explodes when you see the brothers coming out of the door asking her what happend - not fighting to death over a cube, just bickering bc Nai almost tripped on Vash's leg while walking up to you both

Not being able to comprehend what is going on, you faint

Vash starts panicking and Nai just stands there thinking who are you and why do you look like you were fighting with a bear and oh mY GOD WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUN- REM LET'S LEAVE THEM THERE AND-

But no, she takes you inside to help, leaving now two panicking 20 y/o guys in the garden (you can't tell me Nai is not as much a mess as his brother)

And that's probably how your story of adapting to this new life would start
