Found out an interesting fact from my #23andme #dnatest that I am a descendant of Pharaoh Ramses III on my fathers side. That means that part of my bloodline is Egyptian and I come from Royalty. Granted, the Egyptians held the Jewish as slaves but I am also Jewish on my dads side too. I come from a generic background of both slaves and kings and that’s good and important to know because it helps me connect with other people and gives me more reasons to immerse myself into different cultures. I am so happy to have done this test because every piece of me, even if it’s less than one percent, I take pride in it because every part makes the whole me and I wouldn’t be the same person if any one of the pieces were missing.
