Since Douxie is semi-immortal and has been alive for HUNDREDS of years, imagine how many times he has had to adapt to each new set of generational slang. Like he'll be having a conversation with someone, and he'll use an old piece of slang from one of the many previous decades or even centuries that no one understands and will just be like 'wait a minute' and realize he's using the wrong slang.
