I'm under the impression that Barbie is basically Short Circuit II but with Barbie.
I read things like this and ask how is this any different from working for minimum wage in retail?
Most retail jobs now deliberately mass hire employees so they can schedule their employees less than 40 hours a week so they won't meet the requirements to qualify for the company's insurance and 401k benefits. I'm not surprised that the studios are doing the same thing.
I understand exactly why the actors and writers are pissed off because it pisses me off too.

This will probably fall on deaf ears I’m guessing because the people who should be listening aren’t going to pay attention the reality of what this means
But yeah most people striking don’t even come close to making a proper living wage let alone in the LA area
Are there rich people in the guild? Of course
But that’s not the majority who need the better contracts
I'm riding out the strike in the way God intended. I'm watching 20 year old episodes of Hollywood Squares on Pluto TV.
I drank some Lavazza Espresso for the first time in a while and I feel like Beavis that one time he drank all of the coffee in the coffee house.
