backstory stuff

Childhood.

Vienna was a gifted and, most importantly, extremely obedient child. She loved to learn, and every new task seemed easy for her. She could read, was good at math for her age, and also was singing and playing the lute well.

Lyra desperately tried to be like V, but no matter how much time she spent reading books with her sister, it didn't make her smarter nor more noticeable to her mother. Vienna loved her sister, but couldn't help but treat her like a child.

On the twin's birthday, the first big conflict occurred between them. That was the first year when their mother prepared a birthday party and a present only for Vienna, abandoning the other daughter. Lee was hurt deeply by this, but did not argue and just offered Vienna to split the cake between the two of them. However, V refused, conveying to her sister their mother's words that Lyra hadn't earned anything to be given to her on this day.

They ended up yelling at each other and the next day Lee finally followed her dream of becoming a soldier, running away. They silently agreed to never discuss it again.

Hey y'all. Fall here. I need to evacuate LA, which has been extraordinarily bad for me. Like, can no longer afford to live here after maxing out my credit cards and bouncing from crap job to crap job.

Me and my cat are moving to the East Coast, where the cost of living is 30% cheaper, and my job pays about 20% more. Sounds good, right? Well, the bad news is we have to move really fast and we need your help.

I've estimated the move to be around $800 if I'm extremely tight with my money. Anything beyond that will go to moving more stuff than "if I didn't have this I couldn't start anew" core essentials, such as books, cards (Magic cards are heavy!!), spare clothes, etc.
