the random notes not showing up properly is so scary. if we can’t trust the activity feed who can we trust at all. how many mutuals have i ignored. how many silent cries have been lost to the abyss

Probably a lot <<selection bias>> the people who are confident at posting make the posts you see;; I also often write a post/a reblog and don't post. I don't think you are in the minority.

It’s so hard for me to post anything online because my brain always assumes everyone will hate it/me for the post or what I post will come off wrong and make me sound like someone I’m not. Does anyone else struggle with trying to make anything posted publicly? It feels like everyone else is so confident, how does everyone else at least manage to act confident online?

It just seems so effortless for everyone, and maybe i’m overthinking this somehow.

I’d like to post my art and music here but the thought of actually taking something I made and putting it out onto the internet Is terrifying to me.
