Childhood trauma can be so many more things than the things people think of.
It can be the love you didn’t get.
It can be the things you didn’t get to experience.
It can be having your emotions invalidated or silenced.
It can be the feelings of loneliness and fear that you dealt with. And having to handle stuff on your own that you shouldn’t have had to.
It can be having to hide who you are.
Whatever your childhood trauma is, your trauma is valid. I promise. And you deserved better.
