And those few tardigrades who are inside that corn maze, they don't know what they're a part of. They don't know they're inside a massive recreation of themselves, they don't know what anything means outside of their tiny little routines. Those few who survive out in the cold of space, do they know what's going on? Can they know what they are, where they are? Can they see into the distance and know what life is like, what the universe is like? Or are they just crawling along, knowing nothing about what there is in the universe? The tardigrade is a really interesting creature with a lot of really interesting philosophical questions.
