I’m not copying the text for this story because it is extremely triggering - only read it if you feel able to do so - but this is what months of not only rampant Jew hatred, but also widespread denial and mocking of rape and rape victims gets. this comes after the kidnapping and rape of a Jewish woman in France less than two months ago, that also made basically no noise outside of Jewish circles and Jewish-focused news outlets. now we’re talking about a 12 year old. I doubt this will garner any attention either, but this is what the silence of the world on how damaging and dangerous this is has done.
these boys, now rapists, didn’t only learn this from Hamas, they learned it from the response - from the people who roll their eyes when asked to believe victims, from the people who make cartoons of hostages depicted as pigs, from the people who post constant conspiracies and disinformation, from the people who say Jewish girls are too ugly to be raped, from the people who call atrocities “resistance.” this is that global intifada they’re asking for.
