Do you ever read a fic so interesting you want behind the scenes lore, ten pinterest moodboards and one of those fancy .gif edits but none of that exists bc it's a fanfic?

I really like this story. I love how in character everyone seems as well. I always wanted to see more of Stu and Billy in the movies because it didn't feel like enough. I also am in love with how the reader is written, lots of fanfic ignores the impact of Ghostface actions or breezes past it and while I still enjoy those stories I wanted to read one that leaned into the impact a bit more. Props to you for writing a bomb ass story.

part of the reason i started writing this fic the way i did and making it a slow burn, longer series is bc i wish there was more canon billy and stu content! i get why there isn't bc scream has been pretty true to their ghostface formula since the beginning and from my understanding the movie didn't think it'd be as popular as it was/is so i'm okay with it but that doesn't mean i can't run to fics lol

i also feel like they're so interesting as characters with what we do know,, like i could be reading too much into it (and i might sound a little off here but i promise i'm only this comfortable with it bc they're fictional 😭) but the way they didn't plan to just attack sidney but brought a bunch of people into it, the way that they showed restraint by killing maureen a year before doing anything again (which is factually really hard/sometimes impossible for (most) male sociopaths/serial killers) like the planning? but that's just the almost-became-a-psychologist in me lol

i'm also so glad you like the trauma stuff! i wasn't sure how people would feel about it bc it's not a super popular thing to write about (at least not in the fics i've seen, and there's nothing wrong with that! i've loved a lot of fics that have the reader just accept the ghostface thing and go with it) but it's something i wanted to challenge myself to write!

so thanks for mentioning that! i was a little insecure in my ability to pull it off realistically and scared that the reader would come off as whiny or immature for her age something lol

okay i keep binge watching the great on hulu and i am so obsessed with it fr,, i kind of want to write for it (especially for peter, ik he’s extremely toxic and kinda a bad person but this is extremely on brand for me lmao)
