          It’s supposed to have been an easy mission, he thinks, and he should’ve been able to handle the mobs without a healer, but he forgets that without his friends, he honestly isn’t really much. But it should’ve been easy at this point. Experience and the amount of time he’s spent on the road with his friends have made him a formidable on the field without the aid of his friends. It’s the only reason why he’s able to establish the Strife Delivery system. It allows him to still travel, fight, and find some way to end the restlessness he has without feeling overwhelmed.

          Apparently, that’s not the norm here.

          Still, he sees the petite girl standing before him with her hands crossing her chest that’s reminiscent of the girl he’s left at home. Cloud averts his gaze when her furrowed brows show frustration and exasperation. He’s still not used to it when people care for him, but he’s accepted that some people are just as nice as either Tifa and Aerith.

          And then she utters those words and he looks down at his feet briefly before lifting his gaze.

          ❝I only did what I needed to do,❞ he responds a moment later. He’ll heal with a good night’s rest. The injuries he has is nothing compared to the adventure he went through. ❝Don’t worry about me—❞ and then he pauses abruptly, thinking about how Tifa would be scolding him right about now, ❝—but, um, thanks. For worrying, I mean.❞
