I love that Sehun very publicly recognized EXO’s male fans at such a big event. Appreciating male fans is something I think the group does well as a whole. It’s good that they make them feel accepted and included in the fandom. Having said that, I kind of worry that some fans are taking his statement that he likes men as an admission or his “coming out.” It is truly possible that he does like men (I’ve often wondered), but I doubt that’s how he meant it to be taken (even if he really meant it inside), and I’m afraid if this blows up he might be afraid to acknowledge males fans in the future. Of course fans have their own views of things, but please think about how our reactions might affect Sehun. We want him to remain open and comfortable saying what he wants instead of becoming afraid of how his words will be interpreted. Just a thought.
