There were some key ways to break Jungkook down which you had grown particularly familiar with. 

The most common one was annoying him, of course, not backing down from his constant bickering until he gave up and finally decided to shut up. You could also be overwhelmingly nice to him to the point that he didn’t even know how to respond without getting flustered — albeit that was a much more rare approach, and it really depended on your mood. Another thing you could do, of course, was to not pay attention to his mindless provocations until he moved on, like a class clown that didn’t receive any laughs. That was always a safe bet, but you’d have to handle a lot of shit before it got to that point, so there were a few downsides. 

Most of those however, at least to you, could not compare to the last option: which was to indulge in his bullshit and twist it against him until he was reconsidering his primary approach to the situation. You didn’t do that a lot when it came to mundane matters, but, in the bedroom, that was a different story. 

“Fuck, baby, do something already,” he complained, his voice strained with desire. Jungkook’s chest was heaving, tremulous breaths escaping his nose as he looked down at you. “You’re having way too much fun with this shit.”

18. “I can’t wait to hug you.”

Poe, in all respects, is one hell of a pilot.

The worst part is that he knows it.

The dogfight began in a blink, and before your sensors even pick up on the horde of TIE fighters, they’re biting at the ass of your x-wing and leaving you spiraling in an attempt to shake the pests. 

You’re not a bad pilot, not at all. But, with six TIE fighters riding your back end? Your skills slip a bit thanks to the adrenaline coursing through your veins and the fear blacking your vision. Only mildly, though. You gun it, wrists slamming the gears of your controls, locking you backwards and sending the TIE fighters zipping by you, opening up a hole that allows you to gun down a handful.

Poe’s voice cracks with excitement, pride surging in his words. “Nice shooting, Lieutenant!”

“Shut up and shoot, Poe,” you yelp, eyes widening as more TIE fighters flood over the side of the ravine, “I’m picking up all the slack here!”

Your hands are quick, sending yourself barreling towards the rest of Black Squadron for back-up. Jessika and Iolo’s comms crackle with affirmations of your movements but still, Poe chatters on. His grin is audible.

He’s locked in a daring tumble with a few fighters, wings skimming the sand of the surface as he ducks and weaves through the cracks in the surface. You watch as he quickly eliminates the targets before his fighter bobs upwards into the sky.

“Picking up the slack? Seriously?”

BB-8 gives an excited wooooooooooohhhhhhheeewwww.

But, you’re quick to notice the sleeper TIE making moves on Poe’s stern. Poe’s eyes widen as you gun the target down out of the sky behind him.

“You were saying, Commander?”

“I appreciate all you do and I can’t wait to hug you.”

“I can’t wait to strangle you.”

“Will you two shut up?” it’s Jessika this time, “Shoot now, flirt later.”

Sounds like a plan.

The fabric of her velvet, dark lilac jumpsuit rubs against the inside of her thighs irritably, yet it’s nothing she can’t endure. The click, click click of her heels tapping on the marble floor echoes around the buzzing with energy backstage area as she awaits for her cue, shifting her toes inside the restricting footwear. Fallon’s characteristic voice steadily rises in tempo and pitch as he introduces his second player and guest for the elaborate game, having introduced her co-star, James… Bucky, a few moments before. The backstage crew swiftly motions her to have a seat on a chair in which she will be rolling in the camera frame with, and roll she does.
