a/n: ok this took me way over an hour..

slowly closing the front door, you kick off your shoes and throw your bag on the floor. this week has been absolutely exhausting, full of sleepless nights and exams. your stress level was through the roof and you didn't even remember the last time you slept more than 20 minutes.

the driveway was empty, sign that your parents left to go on vacation as they told you a few weeks ago. yet, the house was nothing but silent. the sound of the washing machine and the pots on the stove were muffled by your favourite songs around the house, the sound of dishes being washed still loud enough.

you felt tears filling up your eyes as the smell of your favourite dish entered your nose. this week you just felt alone. your parents were busy with their jobs and now their vacation, your friends were busy with their exams and you had nothing to do but study so you could pass your own.

making your way to the kitchen, you smiled softly when you saw the only person who could make you feel better dancing around while doing the dishes. your boyfriend, jimin. his back was facing you as he was washing dishes, an apron wrapped over his shirt and joggers.

he put the last bowl down on the drying rack and turned off the water after washing his hands one last time. jimin turned around and flinched when he saw you, a small gasp leaving his pink lips “damn love, you sca-'' he suddenly stopped, his bright smile dropping at the sight of your wet cheeks and red eyes

''why are you crying ? is everything ok ?" a look of worry took over his face as he made his way over to you, engulfing you in a tight hug as your dam broke, soft sobs escaping your lips as your hands gripped the back of his shirt.

your knees gave up and you both of you softly collapsed on the kitchen floor, your weight being supported by jimin. one of his hands was wrapped around your waist and the other was behind your head, playing with your hair as you nuzzled your head in his neck while breathing his cologne.

he always had this thing in him. the way his cologne or body wash smelled whenever you would nuzzle your head in his neck or chest, the way he engulfed you in warmness whenever he would cuddle or hug you, the way he took care of you every day, making sure you eat and sleep properly and always made sure you knew how much he loved you. no matter where you were or what you were doing, as long as you were with him you felt at home.

when your sobs finally tuned to occasional sniffs he pulled away, his hands immediately finding your cheeks and wiping your tears away. ''what happened love ?" he asked slowly, like you were made out of porcelain and he was scared to break you.

you looked into his eyes to reassure him that you were ok ''i was so stressed with all the exams and seeing all of this made me realise i'm so grateful to have you minnie. i love you so much" you said, covering his hands with yours and smiling.

his face turned into a wide grin before he pressed his lips on yours ''i love you more. but come on now, let's eat and sleep. i know you're tired'' he said, helping you up.

you look at the closed door before throwing the blanket off of you. since the others had some things to do, you were left alone at home with taehyung and jungkook. the boys were in their shared room when your stomach decided that it was craving cookies. you got up from the couch -where you were catching up on a show - and sneaked into the kitchen, trying not to make too much noise.

opening the snacks cupboard, you took out the pack of cookies, sitting up on the counter while eating the few ones left. you threw away the wrapper and made sure to get rid of all of the crumbs before hurrying back into the soft blankets on the couch. a few hours flew by before the noise from the boy's room turned slightly down, the sound of the door opening echoing through the hallway before footsteps were heard.

you didn’t raise your eyes from the TV, but you could tell the two boys were walking to the kitchen. you heard the sound of the snack cupboard opening and a few seconds later, two dramatic and exaggerated gasps. the sound of hurried steps caught your attention “hyung ! where are our cookies ?” jungkook asked as they both jumped in front of the TV.

frowning, you pretend to not know what they’re talking about while trying to not laugh ‘’what are you talking about ?” getting even more frustrated, their faces turn into angry pouts ‘’we left some cookies in the cupboard earlier but now they’re gone !” tae exclaims as you pretend to scratch your nose, covering a light giggle.

unfortunately, jungkook catches on that and points a finger at you, the pout more evident on his face “you ate them ! you’re laughing” he yells. before you can realise what’s happening, you feel someone push you onto the couch and two hands tickling your sides. “why did you eat them ?! how could you ?!” taehyung dramatically yells as his hands keep tickling your sides, tears from laughter filling up your eyes.

“you better buy us more !” he yells again, both boys joining you in laughter. you nod your head repeatedly as you try to push him away. after making sure that you’ve learned your lesson, tae finally stops and the two boys collapse on you, resuming the show you were previously watching.

someone please slap some creativity in me 😭😭
