Sun Conjunct Mercury in ♌: She is a very self-motivated spirit. She never seems to run out of energy, always prepared to pursuit self-interested ideas. when i think on the state of kpop over the past decade i don’t even see it as moving into “mainstream” but actually parting from material boundaries within the global industry. digital streaming is largely incompatible with western “mainstream” artists anyway. there’s another conversation to be had about how the western standards rule global charts. so it wouldn’t be accurate to conclude the development of kpop by those standards. of course popular media is extremely derived and constantly subject to comparison. it’s just that the phenomena of global internet is what actually accelerates popularity. ppl just haven’t caught on to the lack of relevance the music industry actually has, the more that we go digital!
