My name is Amira, I am 8 years old 👱🏻♀️. I spent my childhood in northern Gaza, where I was in school every day, dreaming of a future full of achievements 🏫. But suddenly everything changed. My house 🏡, where I lived with our family, was bombed, and there was nothing left. We will plan your business hard, and I never imagined you would plan to start a monthly days like this. 😞🌹🌹
After the bombing destroyed our house, we had no choice but to flee to the south. We are now living in a tent ⛺ on an empty lot 🏫 with hundreds of other families. This tent has become our new home, but it doesn't look like it. There are no walls to protect us from the heat of the day or the cold of the night. During the day, the sun is ☀️ so hot that it feels like my skin is burning, and at night, the cold 🥶 is unbearable. Sometimes, I cry because of the extreme cold, and I cover myself with everything I can, but it is no use.📢

The school I live in is now a place that holds all our pain. I no longer go to school like I used to. Standing in long lines to get water has become part of my daily life.❤💔
I dream of returning to my old life, where I used to go to school and play with my friends. I used to dream of becoming a great person in the future, but now I feel like those dreams are getting further away from me every day. The war took everything from us: our home, our safety.

I live in this place, and I don't know when we will be able to escape this nightmare. I wish I could scream as loud as I could, but no one hears. We are here in the shadows, in a world full of destruction and sadness. All I ask now is for this war to end, and for us to find a way out of it. We just want to live a normal life, away from fear and destruction. 💔🇵🇸💔
