y'know i genuinely think the reason that sherlock and co. doesn't make me feel queerbaited like bbc sherlock did is because in bbc sherlock john and sherlock are always like eight feet away from each other like they're a regency couple who can't come any closer to each other lest they collapse into each other's arms and ruin their reputations and then literally three episodes into sherlock and co. john's giving sherlock a hug that you can just hear is tight and warm and longer than 2 seconds anD SOMEHOW IT'S LESS GAY
