Ok i was looking up the Swedish school system bc it’s way different than mine and I saw that in gymnasium (which is what Hillerska is, right?) they have different study programs. But in the show they all appear to be in the same classes (or we don’t see enough classes maybe). What programs do you think they are in? Or am i not getting what type of schooling they are supposed to be in rn?😅

You’re correct, Hillerska is a gymnasium and we do have different programs. There are a LOT of programs actually, but different schools have different ones. I would assume Hillerska only have “Social sciences”, “Economics”, and “Nature sciences”, possibly something else but I doubt it.

In Sweden we are put in a group that will be our “klass”(not class as in lesson) when we start our first year, and then we do all our classes with that group for all three years (for the most part, some classes might be mixed from other programs/klasser, like languages etc)

So Simon, Wille, Sara, Felice, Stella, Fredrika, Maddie, Henry, Walter and Alexander are all in the same klass and same program, which is why we only see them in the same classes. I would guess they’re in the social sciences program, but we don’t know that for sure.

I love this scene but I notice a couple of things here.

In episode 6, Henry says he told Walter his suspicions about Wilmon on movie night, however I didn't notice until recently that when they grip onto eachother Henry briefly looks over as they do so, and then proceeds to glance at Walter.I suppose the boys weren't that subtle.

Later in ep6 Henry casually talks to Wille about football rather then gossips like Walter and the others.Prehaps Henry is going to come more into focus in season 2, he's in the society so he knows Wille defended Simon.

Don't mind the rant just didn't notice this background detail so much.

August just to annoy us, someone said June but ya know filming doesn't finish till may, realistically it could be more like November, if it is November though November 1 would be great, or even Oct 31 as I'm so far ahead timezone wise and I'ma start my birthday right.

Whichever episode is the halfway point in the show.

3. How will Simon find out about August being behind the leak?

Willhelm will tell him and they'll probably argue about it.

Yep, snow kisses.

5. Will there be any physical fight (if yes, who will be involved)?

Yes August at the very least, I could see Simon going for him but Alexander and Wilhelm beating him up are certainly welcome options.

6. Will Wilhelm abdicate?

No, I simply don't see it happening as much as it would be a power move

Yes, but it'll be towards the end of the season to prepare for season 3??

Maddie and Simon are gonna be queer besties shopping in NY but other characters (Walty I'm looking at you, I've read Other People's Secrets) are welcome to join the club💅

No August isn't gonna help her he knows that the queen is covering for him now he doesn't care.

Yes the queen will speak first, probably to talk down to him but Simon goes off and low-key impresses her (I think I'm reading to much ao3 cause I keep thinking about moments in fics-On Campus rn)

12. Will there be clothes exchange between Simon and Wilhelm (if yes, what item)?

The purple hoodie and scarf or something of Erik's is acceptable.

13. Will Sara speak any Spanish?

No, she's trying to fit in with the upper society and she thinks her family is something to be ashamed of, I hope this changes though.

14. Will Simon become aware of Wilhelm's anxiety?

Yes quite early on as they're trying to sort this mess out but Wilhelm's feeling the pressure of the crown.Simon has probably already noticed some signs

15. Will Wilhelm break the 4th wall at some point? .

Either he'll open and close the show's first and last episodes by looking in the camera, or Simon will.

16. Will Alexander get some sort of revenge (if yes, how)?

Something to do with the new charecter, maybe him and Simon+new charecter will beat August up.

I won't say no to an elaborate murder plot though.

17. Will Erik appear in any form (letter, flashback, etc.)?

Micke’s apartment appears to be very cluttered with all sorts of random décor so this may be a coincidence but if I may speculate, I’ve been considering that the NYC stuff could have been from a trip with the two of them? I’m not certain of how realistic that is but in general (and I’m saying this from the experience of my 4 younger siblings father being an addict / alcoholic and watching how he acts for 12 years now) addicts who receive money from a system like welfare or disability will use it frivolously, and taking your kid on an expensive and impulsive trip to somewhere they would love to go, to buy their love an affection is very possible.

It definitely seems like Micke is regretful of his actions and that he genuinely loves his kids, that doesn’t negate his alcoholism, that behaviour is part of it. 

We’ve already discussed the possibility that the purple New York city opera shirt that Wilhelm is wearing in Episode 6 (above) might be Simon’s, so this is my little addition
